I usually take a day or two of rest after a heavy leg day. I threw my back out last weekend, and I had to sit out one extra day just to make sure my back was good. Pamper your back. Take a rest day. I will say, I absolutely love Tiger Balm. The orange stuff in the clear jar. It definitely made the pain bearable for a bit.…

I like sugar...or Stevia. I just found the box of stevia packets for like $1.50. Convenient. I just don't care for the taste of Splenda or Sweet n Low, and nutrisweet messes with my stomach. You could also try honey, molasses, or maple syrup

Natures Own is also a good brand, and they have lighter breads as far as calories go. Their double fiber whole wheat is pretty tasty.

I shop at Aldi. Their light & active brand is 45 calories per slice and looks like a standard piece of bread. Tastes pretty good, too. They also have a sprouted 7 grain bread that is 60 calories per slice. They are pretty small, but i love the flavor.

When I tell my kids to go pee before we leave to go somewhere and not 5 minutes after we leave, they suddenly have to go pee....again.

Hey. I spread my hands further out and concentrated on not bending my wrists down today. It really seemed to improve things, and there is no tenderness today. Hubby had surgery yesterday, so I had to push my days out this week. Thank you guys for the tips!

I do squats on Tuesdays and Fridays. Since I have some knee trouble right now and have to wear this weird rubber web brace thing with hinges, I am using the hack squat machine to get lower. It's hard to keep my knee stable. Seeing an ortho surgeon, and he gave me the thumbs up on that one. But yeah. Doing squats. Just not…

I think the original lemon Oreos are better. I love the plain thins, though. So good!!! I gotta try the mint.

It's not DOMS. I have felt that, and this isn't that. This reminds me of my carpal tunnel pain, except worse. It's still tender today, but not nearly as bad. I'm going to take you advice @ninerbuff ! Thanks for that! Grabbing some wraps, too.

Wrist wraps. I'm going to give that a shot. I'm not even lifting heavy, but it is a fairly new exercise for me. Just RICE-ing the crap out of it and taking Aleve for the moment. Ironically, last week, a fellow lifter asked me if I got wrist pain from doing this exercise, and I was like, "No. I haven't experienced that."…

Me too! I found that Not Your Mother's dry shampoo is the way to go. I can wash every 2-3 days instead of daily. It's awesome!!

As much as I love seafood, I hardly ever get to eat it. So, I eat a lot of chicken, pork, grass-fed beef, and turkey. I grill most things, but I have found some amazing recipes on Pinterest. I love sautéing chicken tenders with garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Then, I put those on zucchini noodles with marinara…

I like that!

Sweet! Thanks for that tip! I'm ready to get back to lifting, though. Feels weird being off. Lol

That happened, too. Lol Thanks for that! I just wanted to make sure I'm not messing up by taking some time off. I gotta recover, though.

Been there. Have you checked the dryer hose? Sometimes it can get clogged with lint, which can cause trouble with the drying cycles. Also, make sure no birds have nested in your outside dryer vent. Probably need to clean out the lint filter, too. Good luck!

Also - what do beet greens taste like? I hate beets. Do the greens taste like beets?
-
Sorry. I somehow missed the banana and tomato sauce in your post. LOL Blame it on pain meds.
-
I hear bananas, watermelon, and tomatoes are also good for potassium.

Just tried Oreo thins this week. I'm in love. I hate the original Oreos, but I love the thins. They are so crispy and good with a perfect cookie to cream ratio. Yum!!

I have PCOS, and my doc recommended lower carbs, but not cutting them out completely. She suggested I eat more complex carbs and avoid the refined stuff. I also have to ear a lot of non-starchy veggies, which help fill me up. So, I dot hints like a whole egg, baby spinach, and 2% shredded cheddar cheese scrambled up and…

I stick with Oatmega or Pure Protein. I haven't found any other that taste good or that are worth the calories...and even the pure protein is limited to one or two flavors I like. I think Quest in general is just...meh. Don't try the protein chips. They are like flavored sawdust. I can't get past the texture to enjoy them.

I have my alta, and I love it. When I first started losing weight, it really helped me reach my step goals. Now, I like that it tracks calories burned throughout the day.

I beat prediabetes and PCOS. That was by losing 45 lbs. Now, I have a cruise coming up in June. My first. I want to rock a two-piece for the first time in 10+ years. I'm vain. I just want to look good and feel good about myself. Being healthy is a bonus.

That's been me this week. Super stressed about life in general. So, I ate some stuff that I normally wouldn't. My belly swelled up so much that I looked pregnant...and I felt even worse. It's going to be okay. Binge watch "How I Met Your Mother" on Netflix. It makes me laugh every time....especially after the "Slap Bet"…

Well, my BCP decided to Jumpstart my period an entire week before the inactive pills. And, I have developed "pizza face" this week on one side. I can't tell if it's from an allergy to detergent - because I lay on my husbands chest on that side and watch Netflix - or if it's the hormones. I have a giant cystic acne horn on…

I use the Reebok Crossfit Nano 5.0. Love them! They have nice hard, flat soles. They are fairly lightweight, and really comfortable. I prefer them to Converse.

You are absolutely amazing! What an accomplishment!!

When you say "twice a month," is it usually around peaks in your cycle? Like ovulation and TOM? If so, it could be hormone-related. Have you had a full physical and BP check to rule out high BP? There are so many triggers for migraines. So, you need to talk to your doctor about this issue. He might be able to prescribe…

I usually just have something small that fits in my calories. When I first started changing my diet, I got the chocolate crunch rice cakes and spread sure butter on them. Sometimes I would add Ovaltine to vanilla Oikos, and that was amazing. :) I still indulge. As long as it doesn't comprise a huge portion of your…
