My flu shots aren't free. My insurance covers them, but I have to pay my insurance premiums. Better than paying for OTC flu symptoms meds that don't do crap, missing work for weeks at the time, winding up in the hospital, etc etc etc. My son could die if he got the flu. He's 5 years old and has reactive airway disorder.…

Yes! They don't have potatoes in them. So, they don't have the texture of potato chips. It's more like fibrous sawdust chips with a ton of salt. I was supremely disappointed. The apple pie Pure Protein bars are also disgusting, as is Artic Zero. Dasani sparkling water. So fake in flavor, and it's just gross.

I didn't read this part. I'm really sorry that you're having to deal with that. Sweet Earth uses seitan (wheat product) and tofu. So, that's definitely out of the question. So, maybe things like Greek yogurt, legumes, quinoa, and those types of protein would be beneficial? Oh...and lentils. I love lentils, and they are…

I cubed it and roasted it in coconut oil with chunks of apple and some cinnamon for a tasty side. My kids love it.

I haven't tried MorningStar, but I will sing praises of the Sweet Earth products. Their breakfast burritos are so delicious! They also have a tasty pizza Mac and cheese. They have a lot of really great vegetarian/vegan products, but they can be hard to find.

My husband adds it to his chocolate protein shakes.

I do it without powder. My goal is about 120g. Most days I meet or exceed that. Sometimes the sugars in powders and bars can cause upset stomach. Erythritol s a big culprit for that. I like the Oatmega bars. They don't mess up my stomach. I also eat a lot of lean protein. Eggs, chicken, fish, grass-fed steak, shrimp and…

I spread half an avocado on my toast. Then, I top it with a little salt and pepper, a cheesy scrambled egg, and pico de gallo. Other than guacamole or cubed in a chef salad, this is the only way I will eat it regularly.

My kids love overnight oats. I still can't seem to like it. I prefer baked oatmeal if I am doing that...or cookies. Lol I will try this recipe for my kids, though. :)

I can't post pics from my phone, but we have a senior German Shepherd girl named Moxy and a 7 year old Basset Faucet de Bretagne named Crow. We are hoping to get a German Shepherd puppy this fall! We also have a 20-lb Maine Coon mix named Mew, who thinks he's top dog around here. Lol

Seitan, tofu, Greek yogurt, protein shakes....just have to get creative and find things you like. :)

I make oatmeal for my kids, even though I hate it. Their favorite is when I add brown sugar, coconut oil, cinnamon, vanilla, half a banana, and a dash of nutmeg. Sometimes I also add a little almond extract. Their second favorite is when I made oatmeal with apple juice, applesauce, and a little apple butter. I also add…

So, I tried hook grip, and I have come to the conclusion that I have ridiculously short fingers because I can't get my fingers over my thumb. This is frustrating.

I'm just glad they figured out what's wrong. I always hate going to the doc for pain because I feel like if they don't find the source, then they think I'm looking for drugs. You know?

I have sciatica. I don't know if losing 43 lbs helped or not, but that's only because I have aggravated it with lifting recently. I can say it doesn't bother me nearly as often as it did when I was heavier.
-
I sometimes add cheese to my eggs and top all of that with pico de gallo. :)

Oh. Sorry. I have nothing else to offer for your breakfast without the protein. I am not sure how 200 calories of....fill in the blank with maybe a salad and no dressing....would keep you fuller than protein, which takes longer to digest....which essentially keeps you fuller longer than just about anything else. Protein…

Oh goodness. I have trouble getting under 200 calories for breakfast. A large egg is 70 calories. Maybe 2 eggs and 2 slices of Oscar Meyer microwave bacon? Not a lot of sugar and that would be right at 200 calories for breakfast.

Don't worry. I felt the same about mine! Haha!!!

Here is a Quest Diagnostics link regarding their ranges http://www.questdiagnostics.com/testcenter/testguide.action%3Fdc%3DTS_Testosterone_LCMSMS

Most labs are measured in a range of normal. For testosterone levels in men, the range depends on your age. Your levels most likely fall in the normal range for your age group. In other words, the numbers are not out of the normal range to concern your physician. If you are concerned, contact your doctor's office and ask…

I have found the Reeboks endorsed by Spartan Race are some awesome shoes for off road running. They have great tread and are lightweight. Quite comfortable. Another brand I really love are Merrells. Worth the price.

Yeah. I read about the bible treatment. That is very old school. It's not done anymore because it causes more damage than good....actually is does no good and only causes damage. Lol I really hope they just remove it through surgery. All the stabby stabby stuff while I'm awake just makes me cringe. Gave birth to 3 kids,…

I know how you feel. I was just telling my husband the same thing today. I have lost almost 45 lbs, and it is really hard for me not to see the 203 lb me in the mirror. Just take it a day at a time. Body dysmorphia is hard to overcome, and sometimes talking to a professional can help. You have made a significant change in…

Sweet Earth makes vegetarian "meats." They have crumbles that are like sausage and "benevolent bacon." They also have delicious vegetarian meals with high protein. I love their breakfast burritos. Maybe these could be an option? They are usually in the freezer section.

Anyone?

Or I stir Ovaltine into my oikos vanilla greek yogurt. And I have been known to drizzle melted chocolate chips over my popcorn.
-
I absolutely love Ghirardelli sea salt soiree. One square is like 63 calories and super satisfying when I am craving chocolate. Either that or a Pure Protein chocolate deluxe bar.
-
Personally, I hit the treadmill to warm up before lifting. That's just me, though. I might have to check out some of the programs others have mentioned.

I second Mir. I have been lifting since December. I can assure you that the guys in the gym couldn't care less about the other people in there. Everyone is so involved in their workouts, especially the heavy lifters. Just put your headphones in and tune everything out. Also, find someone to go with you...someone with…
