  • Q: What do you call two banana peels? A: A pair of slippers.
  • No judgement here either. Love offering support, we are all here for a common purpose.
  • Remember that slow progress is still progress.
  • You are my life saver lol. I was craving Sushi yesterday and was trying to see how can I order it without the rice besides sashimi, which I also love. Thank you, thank you!!

  • I am wearing my winter coat comfortably with extra room to wear with a hoodie, one that in Dec 2014 I could barley zip up and when I did I had to tug and pull and felt like a sausage because it was so tight.

  • Why the tone??? As I stated above with the article the dates are very old. And even with the most recent 2003-2006 they found no real difference between the poverty and richer people in regard to obesity. So there goes those empirical results. I will copy and paste in case you didnt get to read it. However, this…
  • The great news is that he is able to lose weight but is he willing to change his way of eating for the rest of his life to keep losing the weight without the surgery? Which the surgery is just a tool and he would have to keep up the healthier lifestyle after the initial honeymoon period of the surgery anyway. Did he get…
  • The data is old as you can see from the years the data was observed but the article states: According to one recent nationally representative sample, obesity prevalence was higher in lower income and education groups, but the rate of increase in obesity over two decades was faster for higher income and education groups…
  • I saw 1 episode of this show on youtube. Eewwww that food tube was just disgusting, and the food looked like vomit. That tube alone would make me not want to eat.
  • My grandparents had only grammar school education maybe went until 5th-6th grade and were poor but they were not obese, not even remotely. So I totally disagree with this. My parents didnt go to high school and were poor. By the time I was in grammar school we poor enough to qualify for food stamps, the free block of…
  • Correction: In my previous post I didnt mean eliminate carbs (100%) because Im doing LC. But for the most part eating LC has helped me.
  • I am doing LC because I have noticed that when I eat too much carbs it make me feel psychically sick. I started MFP weighting all my food, calorie counting, eating 1200 and lost weight. Then I read up on BMR/TDEE and changed my micros to refect that along with a low carb % just to feel better psychically. I continue to…
  • Thank you all for the info. Gives me peace of mind and brain lol :D to know I can eat LC and still function clearly. I personally feel much better physically eating LC, I experience none to little stomach issues, bloating and absolutely none of the dreadful "itis" (carb overload tiredness). So even if some ppl feel you…
  • Thank you for this too!
  • Thank you for this!
  • I truly don't believe I need more carbs in my life to function. By what I have read in these MFP LCD forums so far I haven't encountered any dummies...or zombies for that matter. :D
  • My dietitian practically scolded me to up my carbs when I had them lower than 25% saying I needed at least 75g a day for brain function. :o I'm not sure how true is this. I really would rather have them lower than 25% maybe around 15-20%. I lost a lot of weight when in my 20s following Atkins so I know it works.
  • Just joined this group yesterday through a posted link on a post that went argumentatively array lol... (LC vs CiCO) How low is considered Keto? I believe I am considered LC since I have Fat 30%, Protein 45% and Carbs 25%
  • Many great fast food ideas. I'm bookmarking this for review whenever I'm in the mood to eat out.
  • It's a shame isnt it. I think it would be more beneficial if they had at least 6 months prior therapy requirement before surgery. There has to be core issues (aside from those who have serious health issues that prevents them from losing) why someone allows themselves to eat and eat to the point they cant walk and/or are…
  • I agree that the surgery is not getting to the core of why they let themselves get morbidly obese. I feel that the issues should be addressed first and foremost before even talking about surgery. That's why some of the ppl on the show don't lose weight or gain it back after the surgery because the root issue was not…
  • Me too in last night episode with Angel I was so happy when they would show 8 months and there she was looking thinner and walking more. I root and cheer them on. Besides they themselves choose to be on the show, knowing millions would be watching. I just wish and want them all to succeed. That's all. No freak show side…
  • I like watching My Big Fat Fabulous Life but the only thing if I dont feel sorry for her. I feel t she blames all her weight gain to PCOS. If you watch the show yes she teaches dance/zumba so she is exercising but you can see she doesnt eat very healthy or like someone who is trying to live a healthier lifestyle. Did you…
  • I like watching this show as well as the show "My weight is going to kill me"(something like that), because I feel if they can do it so can I. They are all very heavy and do get surgery to help them but they have to continue to eat and move in order to see results and it motivates me to stay on this journey. I love to…
