I had gastric bypass in 2007 weighing 288 lbs. My lowest was 147 lbs. but after 2 pregnancies and by over eating by 2014 I had regained and was back at 242 lbs. I woke up from this nightmare in a dr. appt when I saw my weight on the scale. So on Jan 2015 5th. I decided this was it. I was not going back to my hightest…

I totally agree with you on what this movie/book is. It is what it is and nothing more. :)
-
Did not like the book, seemed a bit fake and some of the scenes unrealistic to me. I found myself nitpicking things like the hygiene, sometimes Anastasia would not bathe or wash up after sex... :s, I know. I know its only a book but still. ;) Planning on going to see the movie though lol. Hopefully it will be better than…

I was drinking every weekend(Fri-Sun), sort of like a weekend alcoholic. This went on for all these years. I can recall my a Christmas party in…

Yes once we get to the maintenance phase we will be able to eat a bit more :D than we do now that we are trying to lose it. It wasnt until I joined MFP and I read thru others all about BMR/TDEE and I'm so glad I did. It has totally changed the way I see food and calories.
-
What a great article. Yes, it wasnt until I read up on BMR/TDEE and the daily caloric deficit I needed in order to lose weight, that I felt like a ligh bulb came on and I fully understood how to eat and get results. This is another awesome calculator that figures it all for you. :)…

Im about 8 yrs post op. I am currently eating between 700-850 weekdays and 900-1000 calories on weekends because I'm trying to lose the 84 lbs I have gained back. :( But if I were at my lowest weight of 147 lbs according to http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/#results my maintenance daily calorie intake…

I am no longer on Nutrisystem. So yes I am now cooking and planning my meals and weigh EVERYTHING! :D
-
I weigh every week and sometimes the scale is nice and other times very cruel, but guess what I weigh all my foods diligently and log everything so I KNOW I am eating in a deficit so regardless what the scale said, I will not let that stress me out. I can feel my clothes a bit looser, I look for non scale victories now…

To the people who say omg but you can die from the surgery...guess what you have the risk of dying anytime you go under for any procedure. Who would of thought someone would die from getting an endoscopy?? Joan sure didn't. :\
-
My head hunger creeps up on my during the weekends when I'm home. I try to ignore it and if I cant then I just grab a string cheese.
-
I am almost 8 yrs post op. I had the gastric bypass and 2 weeks ago had an endoscopy to check my pouch, guess what after 8 yrs its still hasn't stretched. Its not that simple to stretch the pouch, especially so early on. Take it from me I lost 119 lbs and had regained almost 84 lbs back due to grazing, binge eating and not…

I am close to 8 yrs post op, I had the gastric bypass. I will have to continue to drinks my daily dose cocktail of vitamins for the rest of my life. When I stop taking them and get my blood work checked my Vitamin D and B12 levels tend to be on the very low end.
-
I am close to 8 yrs post op I have mine set to 50% protein 30% fat, 20% carbs. I also don't usually eat the MFP established 1200 calories a day. I usually eat between 700-1000. the higher end on weekends when I'm home all day. I make sure I get my protein drinks in daily to be able to reach my protein goal for the day…

I love the Fitbit Charge. I love that I can click a button and see how many steps Ive done, how many miles, how much Ive burned and how many stairs. I can also set the stop watch to count how long I do a workout for and according to that it tells me how much I have burnt and been active. I like that I dont need to go on…

Its just another day for me whether I am in a relationship or not. I think those days are over rated and very commercialized just for ppl to spend money. They are the worst days to go out to dinner, there's always major wait time. I feel the same about Mother's & Father's day.

I cant believe I read all these 20+ pages during work....oh wellz :D

Can I hire you to do me a favor?? :D I have a car I want vandalized... Just kidding.
