I do a little bit of both... I had a problem with eating more than a serving size so at first I weighed most things until I got more comfortable with my estimations...for example I weighed my grapes to take to work every morning...after awhile I was comfortable that a snack bag of grapes was 30g give or take a gram or two.…

I'm having the same problem... My sworkit pro will not sync to MFP. I tried the above recommendation but it did not work :( any other suggestions??

Thanks @sasbw27 I think my loss is attributed to going from eating like a pig over and lazing around the holidays to eating better and moving! One extreme to the other... I'm sure future weigh ins will be more subtle.. But hopefully still in the right direction. @AmyMooreOrLess you are right not to stress over 2 lbs...…

@sasbw27 Thanks! Hopefully I can get down to 140 or so in six months.. I was a constant 130-140 always until 7 years ago when I moved to a new city and I gained a bunch of weight and I haven't been able to get down past 150 since.
