I wish I liked hard boiled eggs more than I do, it would be so convenient. I'm ok with them cut up on a salad, but that's about it. I think it's the consistency.

If she is going to add fruit, maybe just some berries. They don't have as much insulin triggering effect on blood, so in moderation if her macros for the day allow it, may not be too bad.

Garden salads with meat cheese, etc have been my largest source of carbs over the last 2 weeks.

I'm hitting the end of week 2 and only 2 days ago it started getting slightly better for me.

I find a similar issue when I try to include any almonds or cashews at all.

I'm shooting for less than 50 g carb total/ less than 30g carb net. I'm hoping keeping it low for a few weeks or more will help make hunger go away and keep bloodsugars lower and more stable.

I'm not surprised that the starbucks stuff did it for you. Theirs is usually a little stronger than what I brew at the house, especially if you get one of my favorites which is the Americano.

I have cut way back on the diet cokes, I am down to only 1 - 2 cans a day now. Maybe that is helping.

There are definitely people griping about the ills of farmed fish, however, I will happily continue my carnivorous ways given no better choices.

This will ultimately make it more difficult for those of us who are insulin resistant. Meat is already more expensive than eating processed crap and grain products. Having meat available certainly provides a decent amount of food choices to those who have metabolic challenges.

mucho coffee usually solves that blockage problem for me. When I drink it on an empty stomach, it's almost like pressing a button.

Have you spoken to a Dr. to see what medical options may be available for you? If it is something that is affecting you so strongly, perhaps a medical procedure might be a viable option.
