Love my lodge skillets! I use cooking spray on them and it's fine. I use soap once in a while and it's fine, most of the time I just scrub with steel wool and hot water. Also, if you dry them after washing you don't have to oil them and they don't rust.

I've noticed bloating for sure when I over do it on carbs in a single sitting, but not with controlled portions (I weigh my portion of rice now as opposed to filling the bowl like I used to) but if it's all the cooking and meal prep that's getting to you (I sooo totally get it!) then stick with keto if you're liking the…

Trade motivation for self-discipline, and unless you've got a medical need for keto, stop the keto. Small sustainable changes are much better than crash diets or boot camp programs. I love my carbs! Could I lose fat faster with keto? Probably, but I'd just burn myself out and be miserable in the process, then eat every…

I started out with mine closed because I felt what I ate was personal, but at some point I stopped feeling like that. Now it's public because I like looking at other open diaries for meal ideas, so I figure others might like to do the same. I've never had anyone say anything negative about what I eat, it surprises me that…

My depression used to kick my *kitten* but after getting through my first month of working out and eating healthy, my symptoms have completely disappeared! This has worked better for me than any anti depressant ever did. Feel free to add me! :)

5' and I'm down 14 pounds so far. :) Still have 9 to go before maintenance.

Mono and poly are always red because there's no goal set for them by default, but they are the "good fats" saturated is the one you want to keep an eye on.

I was hanging out with my bf telling him how I'm surprised that my waist has gotten so small, but my lower legs are still so chunky. He grabbed my leg and said "That's all muscle, that's not going to get any smaller unless you stop wearing those big heavy boots" It's insane to me that anything on me is "all muscle" but a…

Lol you're a prince among men then!

SO MUCH YES! Screw motivation, discipline is where it's at! And if my slacker *kitten* can cultivate self discipline, anyone can! :)

Oh it doesn't work me up, I just think it's funny. I just respond with "what makes you think I'm single?" I'd find out if someone I was interested in was single before I'd express interest. To me it's common courtesy. Everyone is different I suppose.

I've never been on that thread, dudes on the internet in general just really seem to like taking dick pics.
-
I'll never understand dick pics. I'd respond with a Google image dick or something and say "meh... Mine's bigger" Amen to the singles thread!
-
Maybe they should start by trying to determine of that person is even available. "Can I get your number?" should never come before "Are you single?" And most of the time is just beat around the bush creepy small talk, they don't even get to the point.

To answer your actual question 50g of carbs is about 200 calories so you'd divide 200 by your daily calorie goal to get your percentage of carbs. Then split the remaining calories how you want between fats and protein. For example I'm at 1210 calories a day so for me 50g carbs would be about 17% carbs, and with the…

Yeeeessss to crafting! Hi other knitters!! :)

Have you ever tried knitting or crochet? I find that keeping my hands busy really helps with my hand-to-mouth fixation (I used to be a smoker too) :)

For me, I HAD to push though that first month! I committed to 30 minutes of cardio every single day for the first 30 days, no excuses, no exceptions. It took alot of discipline but if I'd sat around waiting to feel motivated I'd still be sitting around, fat and sad. Discipline was the key for me, don't over think it just…

Everyone's needs are different, comparing is a waste of time unless you've got exactly the same stats. 1200 calories is more than enough to keep my energy levels up! :) I'm 5 foot nothing, have an active job, and workout 6 days a week. Sometimes I eat back an extra hundred exercise calories or so, but most days I'm right…

Wow! Super twins! :)

I've been there man! I can't even tell you how many years I drank nothing but mt dew, coffee (LOADED with sugar and cream), and red bull. Cold turkey was the only way I could kick the mt. Dew (I can't stand diet soda) I focused on drinking water which I've never been a fan of. I started slowly bringing my sugar down in my…

Tap the person's name, then tap the name again on the pop up, and then it takes you to their page and it should have an add friend button. :)

Feel free to add me, my food diary is public! :) I'm 5 feet tall and working with 1210 cal/day.

Totally agree! My boss calls them "weasel words" words like try, should, maybe, probably, hopefully, none of that flys at my workplace. It's been fantastic for cultivating my self discipline. :)

Lots of us have been there, I know I have! It took me just over two months to lose the weight I regained, this time around. Now I'm 10 pounds from my goal, it's bittersweet because I've been here so many times before. Losing some weight and then staring down the last 10 pounds. I'm making it to the finish line this time…

Right there with you man, I've yo-yoed for years! I really bucked down and got serious (more importantly, consistent) this time around, after only a month, my depression symptoms were pretty much gone! Diet and exercise is the only thing that's ever worked this well to treat my mental health issues, I'm sticking to it this…

I freakin wish! Hopefully next year. I'm down 13 pounds and only 10 pounds from my goal weight though! :)

I don't think it really matters too much. I've done both ways and the only difference for me was working out on a full stomach was uncomfortable.
