Welcome! Nice job on being a quitter! Best of luck on your weight loss journey!

I've recently discovered low cal beers. I find Miller 64 is the best option, but it is still a sad, sad beer. I'll drink it for tailgating and other casual all day affairs. My other options are: 1. Vodka, water, splash of cranberry with lime 2. A robust glass of wine I drink the wine slower so it lasts longer for me.

I agree, gentlemen should pay. It changes when you realize your date is not a gentleman!
-
Bahahaha 🐸
-
But I might let you buy me dinner 😏
-
Lol Mr. Moneybags wasn't given the opportunity to pay for me.
-
For a first date I'll let the guy pay if I like him. If I am not interested I'll insist on paying for my own.

2 was awful! It ended up being comical. I didn't think it could get any worse and then it did, over and over. I forgot he insulted my car too. Laughed because it was a 2005. I laughed because I don't have a car payment. Gotta kiss some frogs...

Red flags (all from a first date Tuesday night): 1. Says 'all fat people are lazy'. Dismisses my 5 inch thyroid scar. 2. Says 'I'll grab your snatch right here' (*gasp*) 3. Brags about all his stuff and how much money he spends on it. 4. Has 3 more cocktails after the first 3 which makes him sloppy and handsy. 5. Insists…

Hi! Add me. I'm an active poster on a fitness mission. I'm a runner and my most recent fitness goal is a 5 minute forearm plank...working to hit it by Thanksgiving.

Herbed chicken sausage, leftover roasted acorn squash, sauted spinach...delicious!
-
I concur with roasting. A sprinkle of parmesean cheese just before serving is delicious, too.

Welcome! The first word that stood out was 'refugee'...I thought you were going to ask for money lol

Hi! Glad you've found a way to battle through the cold.

Welcome back!

I would only mention it with several caveats: 1. Person also posts about frustration or inability to lose 2. Only address through a private message, never in a public forum 3. Address it with the intent to help 4. Make sure the person actually wants help Something like --- Hi, I noticed you are frustrated and I see…

Welcome! Keep pushing towards your goals!

I had to Google that reference. Nice job!

Woop woop! It is so counterintuitive, but the quickest way to run better is to run slower. Now, go kick some 10k butt!
-
It's all subjective. There is always someone who can run faster or farther than you. There are also people who are slower and can only do shorter distances. Run for personal growth and you will always be successful.

Hi! Welcome to the forums. Is it painful without added friction, or is it only when you are running/walking? I suspect an infection if it hurts without pressure or friction. If it's not infected you can try to build the area up around it with moleskin to protect it so it can heal. Get this blister healed then prevention is…

Sleep apnea Heart condition Narcolepsy Insomnia (To name a few) None of these are diagnosed with standard blood work, but they are treatable. I agree a daily lunch nap is not normal. It isn't necessarily abnormal, but it's certainly worth having the discussion with your doctor.

I have been known to 'accidently' ruin tempting food gifts: spill water on it, drop it in the trash, leave it accessible for the dog, add salt instead of sugar, sit on it, forget to refrigerate, etc...

Do you have before and after measurements or is this what you see in the mirror?
-
Just a note on always being tired - I suggest discussing it with your doctor if you haven't already. There are several medical conditions that could be contributing. You may find a walk actually gives you more energy than the nap. It increases your heart rate, gets the blood pumping and may give you an extra push to get…

Hi! I live in northern Ohio and spend a lot of time in southeast MI for work. I'm actually here right now!

It's not about the number of days, it's calories that determine weight gain. You gain 1lb from eating 3500 extra calories. If your extreme eating day put you 3500 over. Then you need to eat in a 500 calorie deficit for 7 days to lose that 1lb. You can change the calorie deficit to adjust how many days it takes to lose.…

It's been 25 years since Ive been in a chow hall, but sounds like they haven't changed much! I would start ramping up my estimating skills by really concentrating on portion size (volume) related to weight. What does 100grams of X food look like in different size and shaped containers? Maybe have a photo library of typical…

I am just looking to date, nothing serious, but I really do want something serious, but I'll find any excuse not to get serious with you. Let's just break up now.
