Yes. It's great! I've made it with a little onion and mayo plus avocado. Sometimes even I'll add hard-boiled egg. Canned chicken is such a quick, convienent and stock-able item I usually have some on hand. I get tired of tuna more easily. If you do low carb wraps it makes a great lunch. Lettuce wraps are ok too (but…

She sent this. "I should have referred to them as ketone strips. Im just concerned with your daughter at 20g carbs. If you take it that low for too long it can put a strain on your kidneys if your keytones are too high. Nothing wrong with keeping the carbs low but you need to keep an eye on it." I also told her she was…

Yeah. I did that earlier. Hopefully she looks into it.

You have to find what works for you. Also that can change from month to month or year to year. I used to be convinced under 20 carbs was best. My daughter is convinced of that still and shakes her head every time I eat a Truvia sweetened dessert or a low carb whole wheat wrap with its 6 carbs (but WHEAT MOM!!!). Here's my…

And dessert. Lime pie with a bit of whipped cream on top. 2 c. boiling water, lime geletin pkt, 2 c. cream cheese, mix and chill in a pie plate (no crust needed). Three carbs.

Rainy day, but we still grilled out. Brauts brushed with some local garlic mustard (sooo good) and buttered broccoli.

Whoa! 9$ for shipping?! I don't think so. Too bad they aren't eligible for free shipping. :/

I might try them. I'm trying a new food every few weeks for the fun of it. My order for Quest sour cream and onion chips should be in any day now.

The little I know about Britain I learned from watching Last of the Summer Wine, Doc Martin and The Detectorists. Brilliant shows tho. Been watching the Detectorists all day on Netflix.

Water is fast, fat is slow. Well said. I need to make a graphic with that on it.
-
Never heard of it. Where are you? I'm in Vermont, US.
-
That's a lot of carbs!

m&s?

You can add me. I'm a 40 carb a day average, and I don't do fasting. But I log everything, even my mistakes. :)

Yeah. The Kitchen Aid attachment is $72! Yikes. That's why I'm gonna buy the $10 Vegetti first. But I'll set a weight goal and buy the other as a self-award I think, if I like zoodles. I wish I could find them already zoodled at my grocery store but I've never seen them. Bummer.

Time magazine just did a story on it (lack of any studies linking sat. fat to disease) last year. It's hard to say it's dietary fat to blame or not when the common belief that dietary fat makes you fat is being challenged right and left. All the new science I've seen points to carbs (which your body stores as fat) being…

Our family used to eat pasta five days a week. I haven't had spaghetti in ages! I can't wait to try it. I hope it turns out well. I'm trepidatious only because I've been so disappointed before (cauliflower rice and mashed taters are not liked at all!). We'll see! Fingers crossed! Zoodles with sausage sounds wonderful....

Yep. Maybe frozen foods, nuts and seltzer water. I agree with online. I've been buying more and more things online cause it's just cheaper. Esp w Amazon Prime.

On a side note, butter is one of the few foods the Bible tells us to eat! Which I found interesting. Another is honey, which I might do when I get to goal weight in moderation. I might even eat whole grain breads. I'll never eat my old SAD diet tho.

Mmmmm butter. The best part of butter is that it's made by cows, not chemists. Tho I do use veg oil occasionally (above my daughter's loud objections) just cause olive oil is stinky when cooked with and other oils are so expensive. I never worry about foods that have existed for thousands of years. My Atkins bars do worry…

What's interesting to me is that regardless of "reality", MY grocery store is tiny. Mainly because I only shop the outside perimeter. I very rarely go down an interior aisle for anything. Which keeps me away from temptation and also saves a lot of time. My store's outer perimeter goes from cheeses, to deli meats and more…

Exactly.

Let us know. :)

Simple lunch. Sautéed onion, green pepper, and deli roast beef in butter. Then melted in some fontina cheese.

Oooh! I have a kitchen aid! Didn't know they made an attachment for this! Thanks! Someone sent me this recipe. It sounds delicious, esp the almond crunch. I can think of lots of uses for that. Can't wait to try it. I think I'll go for the ten dollar vegetti first to see if I like them, and eventually get the kitchen aid…

Ah. I've heard of those noodles. Good to know they made rice. Worried about reports of stomach blockage and heard you have to really chew them cause they come out like they go in. I'm a texture freak so prolly never gonna try them. If they work for you tho, sounds like a win.

What's miracle rice? Cauliflower?

I know I seem to post this possibility often but that's because... in my experience this is what it's often found to be my culprit! But, is it around that time of the month?
