Don't eat back your exercise calories (most days) Weight loss is not linear. Water weight is a pain in the *kitten*.

I just put hot glue on the inside of my band. It took me a few tries to get it right. You can't see it & I can't feel it. I'm curious how long it will last before it peels out but I figured it was worth a try. I hate those ring snuggie/noodle things.

I have found myself down playing my fitness level to overweight/unfit folks so they won't feel bad about themselves. I didn't realize I was doing it until today. Must be the "Minnesota Nice" in me. I don't want to make people more uncomfortable about something when they are obviously insecure about it already.

I finally realized that I just have to keep going. Even if the scale isn't moving, or I go way over my calories one day, or my giveaf*** takes a vacation. It doesn't mean I have failed & now have to give up. I just have to start fresh everyday. If I stop caring & trying, I'll go back to where I started. & I'm not willing…

Awesome job! I'm down 32lbs & most days I still think I look the same. The mind catching up with the body is completely real.

Yes, it does change the taste a bit but not in a bad way. It's the only oil we use now. Sometimes I'll toss in butter without thinking & realize I now hate the smell of it in the pan. Lol

I'm on day 111, and honestly it was about day 90 when I really felt like I was making progress. (28 lbs down currently)

I'm struggling for sure. I know my clothes are too big, my manager (a women) said it was time to buy new jeans, but I have this fear that I'm not going to fit into smaller sizes so I just don't even try them on... It makes no sense.

I would do some research to mathematically figure out what your maintaince calories are. Cut 500 from that, no more, & reset your calorie goals manually. & yes that will mean you might have to force yourself to eat some days. I've been drilling new holes into my belt. I don't want to replace it as I love the constant reminder of how far I've come. :)

If you feel it will help, then try it. Most of the MFP community will say that it's not worth it but if your they type of person that needs that environment to succeed, go for it. You have recognized that you need to try something different & that's good. Good luck! :smile:

I weigh daily & log with "happy scale" to see & understand daily fluctuations. I log losses with MFP to keep calorie needs accurate. I've tried a specific day weigh-ins & it makes it so much worse for me.

I just responded with "I'm not, but I've had two". She was mortified. The worse part is that there is an obviously pregnant girl at my office so they have someone to compare too! Laugh it off & run it out tonight. :smile:

My husband & I have the fitbit "One" & we love it. I've had it a year now & I'd buy it again. I'm sorry but I haven't heard many good things about the flex or any of the wrist ones.

I work at a DMV & the only time I'll question someone is when it's a male who mistakenly put a 1 vs 2 (ex: 110 vs 210 at 6'2") & it's extremely obvious that it's a mistake. Other than that I don't care what you put on there. ;)

This is me today, for sure. Just downed some white cheddar skinny pop & a couple Hershey kisses earlier today. Stayed under my calorie count but I still kinda want to eat my kitchen... Damn hormones.

Weight loss is mostly in the kitchen. You can't out-exercise a bad diet. Focus on the food & less on the cardio.

If you can opt for an isle seat I would.

I'd say they are a bit smaller than a movie seat. I'm 5'6" & was 215ish (size 16 pants) on my last flight in November. I didn't have any issues. Not sure if that helps.

It's high calorie but as a treat try coconut oil.
