Day 2 and so far so good. I think tomorrow I'll be well enough to hit the gym. YAY!!!
-
Ok...spent the last week sick and just trying to keep logging in, so I've dropped the ball. This is usually the point in the journey where it's hard to stay motivated. Logging in becomes a hassle or is just plain forgotten. I also start to focus on the weight that everyone else seems to be losing so effortlessly, while I…
-
Anne, hang in there. Just work to drink an extra glass more than you did the day before.
-
Tamera, I'm with you. I had dropped my calories because I wasn't losing the weight I wanted to. I was advised not to, and to just be patient. I should've have listened. My goal this week is to stay within my recommended calorie range, and not to tamper with the calories until I start hitting milestones.

I managed to stay away from the candy!!! Woohoo!!! I really want to be that mom who's kids can have little things around the house from time to time without them worrying that mommy will demolish it in the middle of the night. So far...I've done pretty good this week. I put in 2 hours at the gym on Tuesday because I ate 10…

This week has been a bit challenging. I've got to get this Halloween candy out of my house.... I'm really fighting temptation today. :# Here's to staying focused!

Welcome, Byrd! I'm also trying to increase my water intake. That's one change I'm struggling with.
-
Am_change, that's a fantastic idea. When I joined a gym a couple of months ago, they told me to do the same thing. I'm so glad I did. I haven't lost very much weight (yet), but I've lost a few inches. I can even see the difference in my clothes. It's progress, and it helped keep me motivated.
-
Anne, here's to week 3!! I lost my first pound this week since restarting MFP. That gave me some motivation. :) I had a really hard time increasing my water intake so I'm going to continue working on that. My goal for week 3 is to eat a piece of fruit every day. What's everyone else doing for week 3?
-
Am_change, welcome to the group!!!! :)
-
EmmaSurfs, you're more than welcome to join! Tracking is hard. I struggle with it, but the accountability helps me make better (or informed) choices. Are you able to eat on a schedule?
-
Absolutely!!! Welcome, Anneshields001!
-
We're more than half way through week 2. How's everybody doing? Increasing my water intake has been much harder than I anticipated... On the bright side, tracking is making it easier for me to control my snack portions.
-
Mom2moonbear, great advice. I've really got to work on not letting my slip ups linger with me. It's so hard to get the weight off, and so easy to get discouraged. Here's to encouraging one another and staying motivated!

Cassevans, Lydia and Babedoll1007, welcome to the community!!! <3
-
Cassevans...I think they key to anything is having a plan, and you do! Things don't always go as planned, but you've got to start somewhere. We got this!!!!! :)

So I had a rough few days with a sick kid that involved an ER visit. Luckily, my kid is OK. Needless to say, I did track some, but not as well as a I wanted. Weekends are usually hard for me too, even without the challenges from this past weekend. My goal this week is to keep up the 1 portion snack sizes from last week AND…
-
Kayymojo, how are you doing staying away from soda? I can't believe we're halfway through this first week!
-
Mom2moonbear, great job with the walk and water intake! Increasing my water intake will be challenge next week. How'd you do today?
-
Hi Joselyn0408! What small change will you make this week?
-
Feel free to add me! :)

Feel free to add me too! :)

So for my snack today I opted to eat a tomato instead of cheese or nuts, which I tend to overeat. To my surprise, it was pretty good with a little salt and easy on the calories. I also had a tangerine this morning. The week is still early, but I'm feeling pretty good so far.
-
We can do this!!! :)
-
My goal for week one is to limit my snacks to one serving. I let myself think because they're healthy, I can just help myself, but calories (despite some being better than others) are calories.
-
Hi! I'm looking to expand my community. Feel free to add me.

Everyone hits a rough patch and struggles. Push through it. You can do it!!! ;)
-
I'm trying again too. I know I can do it this time. Feel free to friend me so we can cheer each other on.
-
It's good to have a goal. Feel free to add me. I could certainly use a village of support. :)

I'm game! Add me! :)
