  • Im up at 4:30-4:45, an hour workout, do farm chores and shower before my husband leaves for work. Then I get my son up fed and dressed and off to work and school, I try and go to bed by 9:30 but most of the time its 10:00
  • I've started getting up at 4:30 several days a workout several days a week, it was a struggle the first few times but now that I've been at it for a while its not bad. I feel so much better when I get up and get moving.
  • Everyone is different, if you don't enjoy it don't do it. For me, I cant run inside unless I absolutely have to, I run outside in the heat and snow. My mind gets the best of me and I get bored, this year I started listening to podcasts and found them a huge help. I get so wrapped up in a story that the time flies by. Mid…
  • I did the C25K and now am on the Zenlab 13.1 trainer and up to 10 miles for my long runs, I've had PF for years. One of the best things you can do it go get fitted for the right shoes at a running store, they can look at your feet, watch you run on the treadmill and recommend the right shoes for your build and stride.
  • I think it has more to do with people getting lazy and preferring to stay inside where its nice and cool versus being outside and more active.
  • I listen to podcasts or books on tape while I run, it keeps my mind busy and really helps on the longer runs.
  • Yea, I cancelled then got charged the next month. I even had a message from their customer service saying my membership was cancelled and now in "free" mode. But I got charged the following month I was told I need to cancel it through the App on ituned and they cant aka wont refund me the money
  • That's awesome of you to offer to help. I'm currently a volunteer firefighter/ EMT with a local department, I spent several seasons working on a federal wildland fire crew. After quitting that the desk job really caught up with me, slowly working on getting back into the shape I was then. I completed the CPAT with a career…
  • Hi from Colorado, Im in the southwest corner of the state.
  • I like Vegaone also, Ive tried Shakeology and nothing made it worth the price they charge. I only do a protein shake in the morning for convenience. I can get it ready and drink it on the way to work.
  • I've had a Garmin Vivoactive HR for years and its done good as far as holding up and giving me a good calorie burn for the day. I did take it off when we dive just because I don't want to kill it, It finally died, after several years with me (and I bought it used) I am looking at replacing it with the same one. I'm…
  • Lunch is the best time for me to work out most days, luckily my boss has allowed us to come in 30 minutes early and take an hour and a half lunch to accommodate the people that want to workout. I alternate between running, biking and weights depending on what sounds good that day.
  • I've done the program in the past and just started again this week. I like how simple it is and easy to follow.
  • Ondemand is great!! you can pick different workouts based on what your goals are and how you feel that day. I think it is well worth the subscription fee.
  • More than likely they were yearling heifers, they tend to be more squirrely than older cows and they like to investigate new things, sometimes aggressively. Most times standing your ground, waiving your hands and yelling is enough to stop them. By running off they think its a game
  • My Garmin did an update earlier this week, and for two days after it would not connect with my phone or MFP. I finally had to restart my Garmin (I have the Vivoactive HR) I also uninstalled Garmin connect and MFP from my phone and reinstalled everything and it started working again
  • I work in the courts, when we are not in court I stand at my desk and work and I try and take a walk around the building every hour. It takes less than 5 minutes, but gets me out moving. In the court room I have a stand up desk and I try and stand for any hearings less than an hour. For longer hearings I sit because I tend…
  • Another vote for this !! I love that I don't have to watch my watch or keep checking time, I just start it and head out. It tells you when to walk and run and you can still play music at the same time.
  • I had an implant done a few months ago. I had the bad tooth pulled and the metal anchor was put into the gum/jaw, then it was capped and left to heal for a month, After it was healed I went in and had impressions done and a few weeks later the new tooth was installed. Mine wasnt a front tooth, but upper side tooth. It…
  • I'm a mom of two, 5'8" and currently 216 down from 231. Ideally Id like to get to 160. I started Keto four weeks ago, it is a good way of eating for me. I find that I eat less and don't have the hunger and cravings while I'm eating less carbs. I still track calories, but the very low carb makes it easier to stay below my…
  • YES! I was in denial as how "addicted" I was to carbs, cutting them so low has been a great fit for me. I'm not starving all the time, I eat when I'm hungry and a lot less when I do eat. Ive lost a fair amount of weight, I feel better and an a much happier person.
  • We have sit/ stand desks and I love them!! Some days I stand all day and some days I sit a good portion of it, but it is so nice to have a choice. I have a lot less back and neck pain when I stand more, or at least break up the sitting.
  • I'm almost done with a single tooth implant. The bad tooth was pulled last year and the implant screw was placed in my jaw, then I waited several months for the bone to grow around it. After the bone had formed I had impressions done and a will be going in next week to get the tooth put in. After my insurance I ended up…
  • I've been doing strong lifts, but plan to start Strong Curves next Monday :) Feel free to add me
  • After typing out my question I got looking at my diet and I think that is a big part of my problem, I am close to maintenance or a little under. I don't think I am properly fueling for increased weights. I need to decide where I want to go with the program, continue losing weight or chose to gain strength.
  • I am getting ready to start it! Ive been doing Stronglifts 5x5 for a little over a month, but want a little more in a program and ordered the Strong Curves book
  • I'm sorry for your loss, I lost my mother to cancer the day after Mothers day 2016. The months following were a fog, she had been battling cancer but had been doing relatively well and had a doctors appointment the week before where her numbers were better than they had been in years. She passed peacefully in her sleep…
  • Bring your lunch with ice packs, then you can bring whatever you want.
  • I'm a little older than 18 lol, but I worked several seasons as a wildland firefighter in Colorado, Arizona and Idaho. I am currently a volunteer firefighter /EMT in Colorado as well. Are you doing your run in full gear? Feel free to add me :)
  • Everyone is different on what they find keeps them filling fuller, I upped my protein and lowered my carbs and found I don't get starving hungry anymore.
