Just keep training! If your mile is slow, so what? You are getting out there and doing it! Every 5 K will get better. Make sure you have good shoes though, bad shoes equal injuries. It's worth the investment!

I know if I eat carbs I am starving and eat way more calories than if I stick to keto. If I stick to keto I am usually under my calorie goal. I read that to slow weight loss if you are heading in to maintenance it's best to adjust your protein and fat but keep the carbs low.
