I always feel a bit funny (light headed and a little sicky) after giving blood. Treat it as a rest day. Eat the post donation biscuits and have a good healthy dinner and get back to it the next day.

A well fitted bra should make you look and feel good. You shouldnt need a sports bra for daily life. http://thebetterbracampaign.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/bra-fitting.html?m=1

5'8" - goal of 135ish. I'm about 140 at the moment and still have a bit to lose. My frame is tiny, I've got narrow hips, teeny wrists etc.
-
Scaffolding? You could make your own.
-
Make it an appointment in your calendar. My phone beeps and tells me that its time to leave for spin class.
-
My wrist is about 6" round and I wear my small on the fourth hole. When I'm exercising and want to move it I loosen it one or two holes.

Side burns and the yellow TdF jersey...

That's Bradley Wiggins - I <3 him

We've got about 10 or so rotating midweek dinners, none take much longer than 30mins prep. In the UK microwaves have defrost settings. I get food out the freezer, blast it and cook. Stir fry - pre prepped bag of veggies and protein Spaghetti with mince and sauce from a jar Pre packaged ravioli Fajitas/enchiladas Grilled…

If I'm powering through a spin class I can get about a 5kal per minute burn. A few star jumps? Nah!

What have you all been eating up to this point? Can you make what you have been eating healthier? Will they eat vegetables? What are you eating?

Everything is a chemical... Humans are h2o, carbon, potassium etc. A potato is much the same and glucose has a symbol. I think you're confusing Natural and artificial ?
-
I do it for the whole lot - you'll confuse it with you arm movements otherwise. You'll notice your heart rate will be raised for a good couple of hours afterwards too. My resting is mid 50s post workout its mid 70s for a while.

If you're an actress/celeb etc you'll have a personal trainer. I reckon the vast majority of famous women lift to a greater or lesser extent. You can't really tell a woman lifts unless you see them in the gym just after a workout. I look pretty muscular after a work out, at the moment I look fairly slim and normal.…

I get a massive endorphin hit when I exercise - which lasts for a few hours. Habit keeps me going along with classes which are interesting. I don't push myself as hard on my own.

45mins of spin... Ouch!
-
Huh? That's insane. How are they measuring her heartrate? Why does it have to be 135 and above? Mine fluctuates throughout a gym class.
-
At least 50% of the people in the class will be going alone. You smile say hello to them, find a spot and get on with it. You gradually get to know the regulars and chat to them

I've got a charge hr. I don't run so I don't need gps. If I'm cycling I'll have my phone. It seems pretty accurate with heart rate (but I'm ultra pale skinned so I'm not sure if that helps with the led lights?) It doesn't give me crazy cals for work outs - 300ish for 45mins of spin or body pump. - more for running on the…
-
I like body pump. Its not strictly lifting, but if you have a good instructor its good for technique. My gym does a cross fit class which is more lifting based. If the body pump fits into your schedule it won't do you any harm.

Oh yes... The cute personal trainer. I know he was there last night. Anyone else... Who knows?!
-
I went to the gym last night, if you lined up everyone who was there and some extras. I couldn't tell you who was there and who wasn't. Honestly no one is looking at you, no one cares what you're doing. We're all too busy wiping the sweat out our eyes and humming along to the music.

How about badminton or squash at the local leisure centre? Indoor climbing? Indoor snow sports?
-
Are you *really* that heavy? Or are you more hourglass shaped? I wonder if it's a perception thing? Is there honestly any fat to loose or are you fairly muscley now?
-
Team sports? Netball, squash, hockey etc? Martial arts? Have you given the gym classes a good go, minimum of three sessions. One to get to know the form and two to enjoy. If you like cycling, spinning is good fun.
-
45mins of spin. Tired now.
-
Quick update: mine adjusted back down to 30 cals during the day as it realised I wasn't going to be as active as it wanted me to be.
-
That's odd and sounds like an error. It might readjust later? I've walked 5000 steps and played 40mins of squash MFP has adjusted mine by 70odd cals.
