I've lost 88.5 lbs since November 2014. I started off following the SAD for the first 3 months then switched to LCHF. I try to exercise 5 times a week for 60 minutes, mixing cardio and strength training.

So far I try to stay under 20g of net carbs, I don't worry as much about calories, I eat until I'm satisfied, then I stop.

I usually just put in it my coffee, but I have cooked with it too. I made coconut shrimp, using unsweetened coconut flakes, and pan fried them in coconut oil. I've also fried chicken in it, using almond flour to coat the chicken. Both came out pretty good.

Hello, I'm Jessica! I stay below 20 gr of net carbs a day. I do my best to stick to high fat, moderate protein and low carb. I followed a low cal diet Nov-Feb, and in Feb decided to go low carb after a plateau. I'm still learning as I go. I'm down 88.5 lbs and counting!! Can't wait to get to 100lbs!! I drink grey goes vodka with diet sprite. I add sugar free green apple or watermelon packs sometimes for a little extra flavor. I've stayed in ketosis and lost weight while drinking. I do count the calories of the liquor because in e end calories still count (loosely).

Same here! I love seasoning salts, probably a little too much before going keto....some of my favs are garlic salt, MSG, miracle blend made in Michigan, kick'n chicken by Weber a few from Grill mates....

I'm going to give up liquor for the month of June. I usually have a drink or two on the weekends, but I'm really trying to reach a very important goal, and since drinking slows down burning fat until all the liquor is burned off, I'm thinking giving it up may speed up the progress .

@sweetteadrinker2 ...... I'm definitely moving, I'm a registered nurse at a dialysis clinic, so I'm going from one end of the unit to the other for about 12 hrs, I get to sit on my break, and at the end of the day when I chart....

@jumanajane.... I'm also itchy there too!! Mines are totally deflated:( My upper arms itch as well. @kuranda10, I'm getting all my fat, I over did the fat yesterday, but I drink a BPC every morning to make sure I reach my fat goal.....

Yes!!! They are brutal, with me, I started getting them in my calves, but I've also gotten them in my toes and forearms. Afterwards they are is sore for a while.....nothing like waking up in the middle of the night with your calf muscle locked!!!

Also usually we want to avoid sodium, but with low carb we need to increase our sodium intake due to depletion....I would say google it and you will find a lot of info..... R
