Another artificial sweetener question....
I've read and heard that artificial sweetners can interfere with weight loss. Can someone explain in simple terms how. I don't get how it effects weight loss since its not sugar. I'm up to 6 packs of sweet n low a day w/ 3 cups of coffee, and have been at a standstill with my weight.

How do you break out of a plateau?
I was stuck at the same weight for 7 weeks. I tried fasting for 12hrs a day every other day, carb loading, making sure I measured everything I ate, but the scale wouldn't budge. I tried the 3 day military diet and finally broke my plateau. Just wondering what other low carbers do to break out of a very frustrating plateau?

Does anyone have a good low carb steak sauce recipe? I saw a Philly Cheese Steak recipe on pinterest, instead of bread the ingredients were stuffed in a green pepper.....but no steak sauce recipe was given......

What keeps you motivated to continue this WOE?
For me, first it's the weight loss, but also being able to eat good food, and eat until I'm full. I like reading other low carb success stories and looking at before and after photos. How about you?

Keto stix?
Is it true that the more water you drink the more diluted your keto stick result will be? When I first wake up the result is darker than what it is later in the day. Are they really accurate? Does a darker hue mean more ketones/better weight loss?

Itchy skin from weight loss???
Is anyone else experiencing itchy skin in areas of old stretch marks?? I was wondering if being on low carb for so long has this effect/does this happen with loosing weight/or is it just me?I drink plenty of water so I don't think it's dry skin, but the skin on my stomach itches as much as it did when I was pregnant.....

I know with the typical low calorie/high carb diet the more you loose, the les calories you consume. With the high fat/low carb diet, are there any changes that need to be changed the more you loose? Or will you continue to loose as long as your net carbs are below 25?

Artificial sweeteners ??
I just joined this group, and thought this would be the best place to ask this question....Atkins 20 says to limit artificial sweeteners to 3 packs a day. Will having more than 3 packs prevent the body from being in ketosis?

Sodium tips
I never noticed before how much sodium some foods contain. I always thought that as long as I wasn't adding salt to my meals my sodium consumption was low.(So wrong) Since I've been tracking everything I eat I've been finding it hard to stay within my daily sodium goal......any tips?????

Scales
Is this just me? I get a different reading every time I step on the scale. I mean, ill step on the scale, step off and back on and have a different reading. i have 2 scales, one digital, and one analog. They're never same. This can be really frustrating!!!
