  • Frank's = yum. I just don't bathe my food in sauce and log it when I use it. Problem solved.
  • Pear infused balsamic vinegar, tomato and avocado on whole wheat toast or a pita. I can't wrap my head around bbq sauce or ketchup and tuna for some reason.
  • Fiber fills me up too but for me it's like eating Chinese. I'm hungry again sooner than if I fill up on protein.
  • ^This protein makes me feel full and for longer than another other nutrient.
  • I log everything my last cheat day I went over 281 calories. It didn't even close to eat up my deficit for the week. I suggest you log it so if you do go overboard you can adjust if you try it next time.
  • I have a special k chocolate peanut butter protein bar for my candy bar. It's 170 calories, 10 g protein and 5 g fiber and it's yummy. I honestly eat it more as another way to get protein than as a candy bar replacement but it taste's like a candy bar to me.
  • Can't help ya I think diet soda is vile.
  • I agree with the above poster that you need more calories. I would suggest 40 % C ,40% P, 20% F or something fairly close to that. You need plenty of protein to keep from losing muscle and carbs for energy you need fats too but I forget the why because I effortlessly make my fat macro so I don't really pay much attention…
  • I'm not going to lie I think cheese is so awesome it should be it's own food group. As most said as long as it fits within your calories go for it. I for one wish I could fit a whole lot more in my day than I am able to.
  • I don't buy my animals they are all gifts or rescues. This one in my picture was a rescue. she's gorgeous and such a sweetie.
  • I use my phone for work too but when I walk around the house or office I don't pick it up and carry it with me most of the time. It will lay on my desk all day and my table all night... so yeah fitbit. Plus fitbit has a version with a heart monitor now
  • Gee I wonder if 3 detox topics on page one are enough? No sure which one was first but geeze.
  • You're taking the cheat thing to a level I hadn't thought of. I still log what I eat no matter what. By cheat what I mean is every now and then I give myself permission to go over net calories for the day. Not ridiculously over maybe 300 calories. That actually still keeps me at a deficit but if I ate that way every day my…
  • I can't answer all of those but... You can gain from going over your net calories. It can be protein that puts you over or fat or carbs. There is plan based protein and animal based protein. If there are other type I'm n ot ware of it. Many body builders use whey protein so I'd say you're fine on that score.
  • It's funny you mentioned the misses thing I did that too. I think I would cry if I actually had to shop the plus sizes. I feel like I'm huge as it is.
  • I'm going to fly in the face of what everyone here says. I aim to meet certain macros and by the time I do that there's very little room to eat (for lack of a better term) junk. Maybe I have 200 cals left after meeting my macros if I'm lucky usually between 100 and 200 somewhere. If I could meet my macros with 300 or 400…
  • It was never 110 that would be underweight for me. It was 200 but I passed it and got to 218. I did try to lose before I got to 200 but then I gained again. doing it differently this time.
  • I'm going with my sister to see my mom next week in Ga. We're going to go eat at the whistle stop cafe'. I'm going to eat slightly under my calories for several days before the trip so I can eat what I want when we go. If that wasn't an option (like if we just up and decided to go out) I would just reverse it and eat a bit…
  • The main selling point for me is I work in a job where most of the people I have an opportunity to get to know are actually 1 plus hours away. I know few people here and the ones I do know other than DH are not very concerned with getting fit. However, my bother in law and my sister are and they have fitbits. there are…
  • If you buy it get it off amazon and purchase the service agreement. Then if it does have issues within a year or so you're covered. I believe the service agreement is two years for about $8.00.
  • Yeah they need to quit selling the cardio for weight loss and see strength training for fat cutting instead... too few people realize how much weights benefit fat loss.
  • I'm doing IIFYM so I need those values but I take a supplement to make sure I get all my vitamins and just try to hit my protein, carbs, fat and fiber and preferable be at or under on sodium. I don't worry about the rest. some days I hit it others I don't. I'm almost always a bit short on protein or fiber and sometimes…
  • I'd just like to put in it's really great you pay it forward and give people tips to help them follow your success. I've seen quite a few success stories where they don't say much about what all they did to get there. I'm sure everyone asking you questions is as grateful as I am you're taking the time to answer them.
  • Remember also there's nothing wrong with just watching what you eat until you get used to it. I have trouble making a lot of changes at once. The number one thing you need to do to lose weight is change your diet. everything else is secondary. Why not get that part down say do it for a month? then start adding exercise.
  • If I had a gym membership I'd use it and make sure I would stick to the program before buying equipment. Of course I don 't and I feel a home gym is more doable with my schedule than paying for a membership and driving to/from the gym so I'm doing almost the complete opposite of what I advise. Either way not…
  • That's what we're getting too.The reviews say it's pretty accurate. I'm super excited.
  • I have a gift for getting my fats in. really it bounces between protein and fiber I have to work at.
  • The only Greek yogurt I've found that does it for me is plain old vanilla. Although I have to give a shout out to Healthy Choice fudge swirl frozen Greek yogurt. I at some last night. It didn't taste like ice cream but I wasn't missing ice cream while I ate it either. Greek yogurt and pudding are close to the same…
