I love sweet potatoes. I chop about 3 of them up, put them in a bag with minced garlic, red pepper flakes, thyme, a little salt, pepper and about a tablespoon of coconut oil and shake the bag really well then cook them in the over for about 30 minutes on 400. Sweet and spicy! Lasts me about 3-4 days.

Zumba is the only cardio I will do because it's so fun and I don't dread it. I go to a class but I found a Zumba Wii at a garage sale so maybe I'll give it a try with my kids. Great to hear you love it! Me too!!

I'm pretty sure they don't disinfect the barbels or gym mats and I find that disgusting. My friend got staph and we just figured it was from a mat in a group fitness class.

We do a warm up song then all the songs are super fast. My class isn't typical Zumba. I think it's more hip hop rather than Latin based. It's a hard class and we do lots of jumping and punching along with the dance steps. I get winded more in this class than any of the other cardio classes. I love it!

I wear a chest strap monitor in my Zumba class at the gym and I burn anywhere from 630-780 a class depending on how hard I go. I weigh 170.

My Polar HRM with the chest strap has been reliable for me but then again, I don't eat back all of my exercise calories. I don't wear it for walking, I only wear it for high intensity cardio classes.

I couldn't even figure out the calories yesterday. There were dozens of casseroles and dressing and goodies. Oh well. I banked a lot of calories earlier in the week and now I'll be doing 2 group fitness classes this morning. No regrets. It was a great day, now back on the wagon!

Some people say that hormones cause weight gain. I know when I got off of my b/c pills, I dropped a few pounds. I got the Paragard IUD because I didn't want the hormones anymore. I still get my period and this will last for 10 years.

I do Zumba! I wear a Polar HRM and burn at least 650-750 a class! I lost most of my weight with Zumba. I used to do Body Pump and it gave me definition and the toned look but I will choose Zumba any day. So fun and the hour goes by so fast!

If I'm hungry, I eat them. If I'm not hungry, I don't eat them. Usually I eat some back because I burn at least 600-700 in my workouts.

I'm not following a specific diet or anything. Just trying to keep within my calorie range. I get 7-8 hours of sleep every night. I drink a crap ton of water. Maybe I am just 'off' this week.
