@ geraldinia Many of us are going through something similar. It really makes a difference when you look at how many calories and "unconscious" eating takes place when drinking. At least for me, it's night and day. Good job! Keep it up!

It's been said many times already, but the best option to help yourself (and the fam), is not to buy as much junk. Start slow and just buy less each time. No need to cut it out completely…

I definitely try to do that too! I find that a week or so before my cycle starts I want to eat everything. So more exercise might be in order for that time frame. Nope. I don't see any of the alcohol entries anymore. For me, those entries were from last time I used MFP, a few years back. I did see them under recents when I started using the app again a few weeks ago, but now they aren't there..

I don't think age makes a bit of difference! The only thing that can make it difficult, is injuries, health issues, etc., and even then, logging the food you eat is something all of us can do! Getting married sounds like a great motivator to get started! Congrats and good luck!
