You're right, anything can be said on the internet. Everything is up for debate - even the calories in, calories out is debateable as that model claims that all calories are equal. It seems logical to me to believe that because calories are all different (i.e. carbs, fat, protein, etc) that the body would process them…

Bacon should be fine on every diet. Moderation is key to any diet. Point being made in above post is that a LCHF diet is more tolerant to a larger calorie diet than other diets because it affects the body chemistry. The link I provided shows a few examples of each side of these two opposing diets.

Are you just looking to argue?

Alright, let me clarify. Satiety will change based on the individual based on their current diet. Satiety is both a mental game and a biological game. I am talking about a biological game. If one is not on a LCHF diet then they will naturally feel more full on a carb diet than a LCHF diet. This makes sense because that is…

I'm referring to people saying I'm wrong but seemingly not reading my previous posts which already previously clarified their opposition.

Edited just for you...

Satiety is a model in chemistry and the human body and how it processes food. Point in case, 200 calories of a steak (all protein and fat) is going to make you feel more full and for a longer period of time than 200 calories of pancakes (all carbs). This is something we've all felt and that is because of the science of…

Did you read my whole original post? Doesn't seem like it. If you did you'd see that I directly said

I also agree with the above post(s). The scale is a good idea. Eating and not being miserable is also a good idea. Moderation is your friend. Make small goals and feel good about meeting them (even if it means not reaching your target weight by months end).

Also to note about keto... you can kind of eat as much as you want. It doesn't feel restrictive as you can eat as much meat, nuts, eggs, and other things as you want. But because your body is in ketosis and you're eating high satiety foods, you feel like eating less. If you want... take 4 weeks of trying it... and start…

These are my hard-and-fast rules: (1) Don't worry about the number on the scale. A weight loss journey is more about how you feel, not a number. (2) Regardless of diet the path to weight loss is based on calories in vs calories out. (3) Losing weight is a lifestyle change, not a change in diet. (4) You didn't obtain your…

What I spoke on was more about sports/exercise motivation. Men don't go to work hoping that they are berated by their boss. So it isn't about proving your manliness on a general or daily basis. Maybe your male friends aren't like that - or maybe you haven't been around them when it is "just the guys" doing "guy things"…
-
I've played, coached and officiated sports quite a bit in my life and I always thought it was interesting of how men and women were motivated. Many men want to be "called out" and thus have to "prove themselves" to their peers that they are "a man." However, women want to be supported even if they are failing - they seem…

I am a big supporter of SL 5x5. You get to see improvements all the time and the full body movements/exercises keep your body burning even when you aren't working out. Also, the workouts aren't long or complex - three exercises a day, three times a week.
-
I did the Madcow 5x5 program with microweights. I loved it. If I did it again I might try the Stronglifts 5x5 and then switch over to the Madcow 5x5. 1. When did you notice changes in your body? Took a while 2. What changes did you notice in you body and life? Since I did microweight loading paired with the 5x5, I always…
