Usually the meat has moisture so I don't add any oils. I use garlic powder & McCormick Grill Mates steak seasoning.

I've never liked the texture of cooked oatmeal. I've seen many recipes online for breakfast quinoa & was hoping to try that sometime soon.

A few things I haven't seen mentioned that I like to use are apples and carrots. Both are cheap (for produce). Carrots have an earthy flavor so they may not be for everybody. I like them best when paired with sweet fruit to balance out the flavor.

Did you get enough calories? You can get a headache from your blood sugar falling too low if you didn't eat enough food. If you regularly consume caffeine & you stop cold turkey this cold be the problem too.

I love to make spaghetti squash with olive oil, sundried tomatoes, & fresh basil. Simple but yummy.

There are several teas that taste sweet without adding anything to them (or eating extra calories). I like Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice tea & Every Day Detox (licorice).
