I just started c25k, all on a treadmill so far because I read its better for fat out of shape people like me...easier on the bones, joints etc. At week 3 or 4 I'll try it outside and see how it goes. I would prefer outdoors but I don't hate treadmills either. I just put in my bluetooth earbuds and listen to streaming…

I need too lose around 120 lbs so I set up MFP to lose 2 pounds a week as well. I'm pretty sure that's OK for 100 or more weight loss.

Same here LOL

One reply said exercise more and that would give you more cals to play with. Possibly if you really got into your exercise program or sport it would be more incentive not to mess up your calorie intake?

Looks like you are already getting back on track to me, congrats! As others said just get to the gym so your process continues.

Use google to see if there are any walking/running/biking trails nearby. If you are lucky and there is one, go outside and enjoy the weather as spring comes in with the cardio of your choice. :)

It's funny because I'm on a keto diet, total opposite of your vegan diet and all the experts say you don't have to count calories on this WOE either! Well in my case anyway that's bunk because the weight loss stalled right out on me after six or seven weeks. So I stayed keto but also started up the old CICO here on MFP and…

I hope everyone understands that I think counting calories is the way to go. Just thought it real strange that so called experts disagree

Wow thank your mom for that expense gift! I have a fitbit one and I love it. Go to fit bits website and look for the dashboard setup. I like the way it tracks stuff. You can win badges too which is fun.

Just a comment on the , quote, negative posters here. Keep up the good work guys, the truth is the truth. I love this forum because I know the BS gets called out here. It's so refreshing instead of the Dr Oz crapola, detox, etc etc! This is the one place I go to hear the sometimes hard truth about losing weight. I applaud…
