  • Hello, gosh no 1200 would be too low for maintenance. It just feels like my body has gotten used to that small an intake and has adapted. I also log all exercise and try to ensure I eat proteins to cover the calorie burn other wise the delta would be ridiculous and unhealthy. Thanks.

  • That's really interesting - sometimes I wonder if my body retains my weight because under the conditions I work under most people would get ill. (I am conditioned and trained for such environment).

  • It's interesting you mention the word "stress" - I have an incredibly stressful (but rewarding) job including 18 hours a day plus long distance travel. I find my sleep is light and short and I had to cancel my annual leave this year. I wonder if the theory regarding stress and retaining weight is correct?
  • My periods are a lot lighter when I diet, but I retain water badly.
  • I think its a sensible question - but as I don't drink or smoke, coffee is my vice! I even had Starbucks deliver a skinny latte to my bedside this morning. :)

  • Good morning, I hope not! I stick to 1200. Interestingly I put weight on, the moment I eat any more than that.
