I used to watch a show called "you are what you eat". Its really good but a while ago now so not sure where you can view it.

You look great! Can see your muscle definition and the change in your body shape with shoulders getting broad and slimming in the waist. Well done with cutting back on the soda.

You can do a search of 30 day shred on youtube to watch online. 10 days of level 1 done! I am so happy I stuck with it and pushed myself to keep going even on days I didn't feel like it. Today will be rest day then on to level 2 tomorrow!!

Wow you look great. You look so different and your face has really slimmed down, fantastic!

Thanks for the reply. It is combination of cardio and strength training but light weights and body weight eg push ups, lunges, squats and does get progressively harder. I guess I will stick with the 30 day program and build up my basic fitness level and then look at focusing more on strength training.

Hi, just wondering if a workout like jillian michaels 30 day shred would be intense enough to retain muscle mass while losing fat slowly? I am not overweight, but do have a lot of fat especially around the tummy. I am eating enough to lose around half pound per week. I don't care if I don't lose any more weight but would…

Completed 6 days and feeling ok so not taking a rest day until I finish level 1. I find the cardio easy now and squats getting easier. Push ups and side lunges still get me! Just wondering if anyone knows whether this type of training is intense enough to build some muscles?

Thanks for sharing your changes it makes a lot of sense. I like your outlook in that you still eat the things you like and can socialise but all in moderation and portion control. Well done!

Looking good. We'll done!

Well done keep going you will get there!

Day 4 level 1 done! I was feeling slack but this thread motivated me to push on :) How have you all been going? Do you see progress and changes in your body so far?
-
I love them too either as replacement for pasta, noodles, in salads. Yum.

Well done you are doing great. I also have a full time desk job and 2 kids. They are in bed around 9pm and that's when I do my workout. I am doing jillian michaels 30 day shred at home. It's half an hour and so far so good. I also try to do 30min walking during my lunch break.

Day 3 level 1 done. Still struggle with pushups but will persevere. Planning on having 1 rest day after 5 days consecutive workouts.
-
Day 2 done. The biceps and lunges getting easier but still struggling with the side squat and shoulder raises and push ups (on knees).
-
Count me in. I did a few level 1 workouts but not consistently. Now I am going to give it a really good go. Did the level 1 today. I am planning 2 rest days a week so all up should be finished in 6 weeks. Can't wait to see the results and also looking forward to reading up on everyone's progress :)

Wow amazing and in just 16 weeks!!

Congrats that's a huge loss. I want to ask did it help with losing weight around the tummy as that is my problem area ?
-
Wow you are very inspiring. Your body has changed so much in just months and you have such a fantastic positive attitude. I am sure your speech will inspire more than one person and good on you for wanting to share your success and help others.

I am skinny fat and fat mainly in my tummy area. I am reading convict conditioning and going to have a go at calisthenics. I am really weak so have to start slowly but steadily. I am 157 cm and 5 1kg and eating 1200 calories.
-
Wow amazing you look so much healthier. Your abdomen has gone down in size so much!
-
Thanks for sharing! Your dedication is paying off, wonderful achievement so far.
-
@randomthai you look fantastic. The hard work has paid off. Did it take 4 years to lose the belly and was it mainly lifting as your exercise?
-
Sick of people asking me if I am pregnant and not believing me when I say I'm not. Also hated trying in clothes and not looking good in anything. What has kept me motivated is reading all the success stories on mfp and seeing the amazing transformations.

My post baby belly is my problem area. Have been eating better and exercising, hoping to see some improvement in 3 months time.
-
I have had 2 kids and my tummy is still so big I keep getting asked if I am pregnant even though my youngest is now 3.5yo. I have only started to try and get in better shape. Am joining this thread to pick up some tips.
-
Well done. Your tummy has definitely slimmed down. Are u doing any exercise as well?
-
Thanks for sharing. I am going to look into this more. You look fantastic and super fit and strong.
-

Thanks for sharing your story. It's very inspirational. When I was pregnant I had gestational diabetes twice and the endocrinologist said to me that I would be back with type 2 diabetes when I get to my 50s. I am almost 40 now but reading this is a good reminder to stay fit and healthy.
