Lisa:- I loved that series. They only made a few series though, don't know why, because it was quite popular here in the UK. Karen UK

Apparently there was an earthquake in UK yesterday centred on Cardiff, we didn't feel anything did you KAREN? Kate:- No, didn't feel a thing.

Oh, dear me! I'm sorry you've had to play second fiddle to the men in your life. Why are your husband's priorities more important than yours? Well done on making a stand. All the best Karen UK x

Hello ladies:- it's been a lovely springlike day here today. Very welcomed after the cold and damp weather of late. I'm off to a quiz tonight with my friend. It's a Valentine's quiz, all about love!!! Being twice divorced I don't think I'm much of an authority on that subject! Of course, there's lots of types of love and I…

Hello Kerri and welcome:- I am also a newbie although I was lurking for well over a year before I plucked up the courage to join in. The ladies on here are such a friendly bunch that I feel as if I know them personally! I'm sorry that you've had so much to deal with but you seem very positive. I'm sure all the other ladies…

Felicia:- I've had Raynaud's for years. The fingers on both hands go completely white but not usually both hands at the same time, and never the thumbs!? . It soon passes and they go through some lovely colours before they go back to pink! Doc has always said it's nothing to worry about. All the best Karen UK x

Becca:- best wishes for your husband's treatment. Karen UK

Why does MFP lose posts with smileys on them and, how do you post a pic please? I am using the phone app so maybe need to log in to the site proper? Thanks Karen UK

Kelly:- sounds as if the little kiddies have fun when with you! My little grandson goes to a child minder and she can get the little fella to do all sorts of things that his doting parents can't! Take medicine, sleep etc..!! Well done you.

Heather, I am very mediocre at it but, my daughters always praise my efforts! Xxx

Hello ladies:- I've just finished week 3 of my little job at the school. One hour at breakfast and one at lunch. The lunchtime consists of half an hour inside helping the little ones cut up their food or open packets and containers, and half an hour in the playground playing with them and keeping an eye on them. Most of…

I live near Chepstow and mentioned it when Machka told us she had cycled through it. Karen UK (very close to Chepstow)!

Well done on the 7lb loss! Do you have a goal in mind?

Hello ladies, Lost only .2 lbs again this week. But, I'm now one and a half pounds lighter than I was 4 weeks ago. I'm going to do as a lot of you do and work on a month to month basis instead of week to week. I shall still weigh every Thursday and record it and hope that, at the end of the four week cycle, I weigh less…

Hello ladies: Just started week 2 of my new job as Breakfast Club helper, it's going well so far. I leave my home at 07.20 and arrive back at 09.20. I walk there and back and am on my feet the entire time. I'm starting as lunchtime assistant today which will be a repeat of the morning. I'm hoping the extra walking and…

Goodness me , Kelly! How on earth do you manage to look after 6 little ones together? I had my little 18month old grandson here this morning and he was into everything! Yours are such little cuties!

I think I would enjoy it and start again tomorrow. Chicken with green peppers in a black bean sauce is very nice and (I think) not too high in calories. I have a Chinese takeaway very rarely and that is what I always have. Maybe have it with bean sprouts instead of rice or chips. Hope you enjoy whatever you decide to eat.…

Barbie, I wonder if you do some of the same dances that we do in my class? There must be thousands of them. If our teacher teaches a new one that I particularly like, I find it on YouTube and practice it in my kitchen at home! Back in the summer, he showed us a new dance which I looked up and practiced until perfect. When…

Thank you, I'll have a look.

Same here! I lost weight 2years ago and have gained back half of it. I got rid of all my larger sized clothes and now can't fit into the smaller sized. I am wearing "cover up ' clothes at the moment, leggings and loose tops. I'm finding it much harder this time around and get a bit disheartened. As the lady before me said…

Hi ladies, quick question! Does anyone know if there is somewhere on MFP to find your performance summary by year please. I have last year's and would be interested to know how it compares to previous years. Thanks, if anyone has the answer. All the best Karen UK

Heather, I hope you enjoy the SingalongaSoundofMusic tonight. A few years ago my daughters and I went to the theatre in Cardiff to watch the musical, Jason Donovan was Captain VonTrapp. Although it wasn't a sing along, we did in fact, singalong! Was great fun. All the best Karen UK

I hope your Burns Night goes well, Heather. The table looks fab.

Hello ladies, please don't laugh but, I've lost the grand total of 0.2 lbs this week! Better than nothing, I know. One thing though, last night I tried on a pair of trousers,(or pants in the US) that I last wore nearly three weeks ago. I'm sure that they felt less tight than the last time and zipped up slightly easier!! I…

Joyce, I hope your doc can sort out your problems soon. I had a heart attack four years ago followed, four weeks later, by a stroke. I try to eat as healthily as possible and take regular exercise but, always at the back of my mind, is the thought that I may have another one. Will you be seeing your doctor face to face or,…

Heather, you have some fun times coming up! Lanette, you mentioned war brides. My next door neighbour is a 92 year old war bride from Italy. Her British soldier, Ronnie, swept her off her feet and brought her over to the UK. She left her home and family as a 22 year old, couldn't speak a word of English and was referred to…

Hello ladies! My first shift as Breakfast Club helper went well. The children were well behaved and polite, (this may not last)!!. About 30 children in total ate toast/cereal/yoghurt/banana - choice of two with either milk, water or apple juice. Afterwards they either coloured pictures or played lego etc. The benefits for…

My little town is very close to Chepstow and it's a half an hour train journey away from Cardiff. Have only been to Hay-on-Wye once and agree, it's lovely. All the best Karen UK
