I did a local 10k race in 62 minutes yesterday, need to back on track to increase my mileage, as it is 10 weeks until my next half!

I have now set myself a challenge of running a race every month until the end of the year, including another half in September! Trying to get my motivation back

Since joining the running club I haven't been out just for a run in a while, but today I went out and did 7 miles in 72:45. Felt pretty good

For me it is the opposite, my brain tells me to stop and my body is capable of more!

I ran a local 10k last night and although I am still waiting for the official timings I think I knocked about 6 mins off my PB! I think I am capable of going faster, I have to stop my mind holding me back. Oh no! Hope it was a one off pain! Well done on the bike ride though

I have joined a beginners running club but haven't fully got back to training after my half.

I have 122 days until my next half - Sept 13th. I also have a 10k each month.

I just used the water stations. I never train with water, but it doesn't exactly get warm in the North East of England. I have my next HM in September so I am going to join a club and work on speed. I have a few 10k races over the next few months as well

I just completed my first HM in 2:24:00. Went in hoping for a 2:30 so I am super thrilled

I ran my last long run before my half. 9 miles in 1 hr 44. Getting excited but nervous for race day on the 3rd!

Yeah, I had a lot of IT band issues when I started to increase my mileage, but it does seem to have settled down. I kept running on it so the problem lasted a lot longer than it should have.

I agree, this group has really helped me, knowing there are others going through thw same stuff. Less than 2 weeks to go!

First long run in a while and mentally really struggled, so there was a lot of walking. 11.5 miles in 2 hours 20. 2 weeks until my half and I am really not expecting to run well on the day.

Congratulations, that is awesome! I did my 10k this morning in 67 minutes and feeling psyched for my half in 3 weeks but wish I had trained more.

I went out for a 3 mile yesterday and a 12 mile today. Longest run yet! Completed in 2hrs 17.

I had a really tough day yesterday, so I only managed a short run, but I felt better having got it done

I missed my long run yesterday as I was ill so need to try fit in more sessions this week. I am inching closer to a sub 30 min 5k parkrun, 30:34 on Saturday

3 miles yesterday in 32 minutes. I was hoping to do a longer run but just didn't have the time. Glad I managed what I did though

Wow, you guys and your weather! Makes me appreciate where I live a bit more. Worst we get is a bit of rain or wind.
