  • I had the fitbit zip and didn't like it. Now I have the flex and love it! If I wanted a heart rate monitor I'd go with the charge.
  • I normally make a pumpkin cheese cake. None had complained! I don't even bother with a crust but I'm sure a nut one would be easy enough. I do tell people it has no sugar.
  • I like pork rinds for a crunchy carb. I'll dip them in cream cheese. It helps a lot to curb the cruch carb that I need. For sweets I buy a bag of sugar free candies. Don't eat too many, since some people are sensitive. I'm not though and I'll eat a bit of those. They may stall people too but I'll take it over going WAY off…
  • I went slowly into ketosis. I skipped the flu, but I need a very high amount of magnesium everyday to function properly. Everyone has a different amount of nutrients their body needs. Try different amount of things until you find your sweet spot. I'm sorry you're in pain.
  • I've done cheats. They aren't worth the additional crapy feelings and bloat. I'd have a horrible headache the next day and it isn't worth the pain. I've found new foods or subs that I like better. Nothing I like bread, but it makes me feel horrible. I shouldn't eat it.
  • I'm actually doing a month challenge to focus on my food and not weight myself at all. I'm measuring/weighing myself before and after. We get so stuck on numbers and not focus on how we feel. I'm trying that for once. I'm really in for the long haul, my old habits weren't healthy or helpful. I'm not counting calories so…
  • Very smart. A good listen. Thanks.
  • Of course that's a good start! It's hard in the beginning to change everything. 30 isn't going to give you the immediate response 20 will, BUT it's better than before and I think any improvement is good improvement. Good job!
  • I've always given myself 2 weeks on Atkins before adding excercise. Make sure you're eating enough calories also. When I only counted carbs and made sure I had my veggies in the beginning I only had around 1000 cals and I gained weight. Once I added fat bombs and more protein I was fine and lost very quickly. It's so…
  • Welcome! A lot of ladies find out going LC helps their fertility so this is a great place to start!
  • Chocolate. I'm very thankful for russel stovers sugar free chocolates for those days! I can make everything else from scratch and have some decent recipes but I don't really like fat bombs and those hit the spot for me.
  • I love left overs but if you want it fast and breakfast like, make eggs the night before and bacon. In the morning throw it in a LC wrap (heat or not) and add a little mayo. It's delicious and very filling. I love mine with some slices jalapeños.
  • Have you tried coconut milk? I don't know the carb count but unsweetened should be very high either.
  • My goal this month is to have my jeans a little less snug and lose a few inches from my stomach. To work out at least 3 days a week. Hopefully by summer be down 17lbs before my family reunion. I also want to run a 5k in the fall.
  • Hi all! I'm Angela. I'm 31 and a mom to 4 kids. I was low carb after my 3rd mostly for 2 years. Got pregnant with my 4th and "enjoyed" my pregnancy. I'm just getting back in and need to stay this way. My old eating habits are very unhealthy and not sustainable for me to have any energy to enjoy life. I'm not really…
  • Almonds stall me as well. It could be something that doesn't completely agree with your body and you should use it in moderation while losing weight or try to skip it. I've started skipping it. It helps to avoid things that stall you. It's less frustrating. Sorry!
