  • Yeah I guess she is on her feet a lot, I'm gonna see how the next couple of weeks go adding exercise back in. Thanks for all the replies, I'd rather not have a damaged metabolism so it's good to know it's not as easy to damage it as I thought!
  • Well that's annoying :/. I knew that would be true of the back pieces because they are double the size of the ones in the middle. But I thought brands had a responsibility to get that right, guess not. I'm able to workout again normally now, so hopefully that'll help things along. Im also going to go do a big shop and buy…
  • I will look into that! I have scales at home but they are really old and difficult to read, don't really trust them 100% but they're fine for baking so I kept them. I'll see if I can buy some digital ones, they sound easier to use. One thing that puts me off scales is that I don't really like the idea of weighing out my…
  • Okay I've watched the video, I'm gonna try eating things that are hard to portion wrong so I'm gonna stay off pasta and rice for a while and stick to bread which is pre sliced. Today I found out I'm going to Spain in February so I really really wanna be a size 8 again so I can feel good in a bikini :) I guess that's kind…
  • I'll check that film out then, and I understand what you mean about my friends but I know them very well and one them especially works in a cafe. She basically spends her day munching away on nachos, brownies, hot chocolate, carrot cake, and then gets home and has her supper with family as well. Usually they go out…
  • Okay thanks everyone, I'm gonna try increasing my protein and pre-planning my days. I really hope I can get back on track, my confidence gets better with every pound I lose and I don't want that to stop
  • I did think about taking a break, but my birthday is coming up and my original goal was to reach it by then. However I don't see that happening, but I would like to lose a little more.
  • I don't follow the goal mfp gave me because I gain weight or maintain. I have to eat at most 1800 to lose weight, but 1600 is a better pace.
  • I haven't been restricting at all, apart from just weight loss but even then I was keeping it a reasonable amount. I wouldn't call it a binge because it's throughout the day. I just can't see why i suddenly can't resist food. I do have a food scale and I use it sometimes, but I should probably use it more often :/ I…
  • Yeah I've taken a break and done some days on the elliptical, but I'm gonna do a bit more probably tomorrow. 400, that's so good! How much do you weigh may I ask? They don't hurt whisky doing it, it's just they were very achey. Walking up stairs was a challenge haha
  • Thanks, you've all made really good points. By the "no excuses" thing I meant that I've made up surpluses before so I should be able to and I feel like I'm letting myself down. But to be honest, I did try. I know my food choices have actually been way worse than normal since trying to make up for it. I think it's the whole…
  • I tend to cook a big healthy lunch for the family most days. It's just in the evening when I want something quick, I tell myself I'll cook again but I end up eating a piece of cake or something while I'm chopping the vegetables
  • Thank you all, I will definitely take on board everything you've said. I usually have rest days 2x a week but I have been trying to compensate for hours of exam studying sat in my room by doing a little extra last week thinking it would average out. I guess overtraining is probably the issue. I will take a rest day…
  • Oh okay, well basically I think I was gaining before but slowly over time so I didn't notice it until my jeans stopped fitting oops :) I was eating 2400 a day thinking that I had an active lifestyle but I think it's actually only moderate so it went down. But if I ate at 2250 after eating 2400 would those few extra pounds…
  • Well thanks for those who answered the question... I get that for guys it's great, but I'm not a guy. I don't like the way I look in dresses and I've never had any positive comments about them :/ I know others would love it but I don't, just like i love how others look and they don't. Anyway, at least now i know they're…
  • I wasn't sure how to measure and that's what a guide online told me. I also get quite out of breath and when I try to sing to the music I'm playing, I can only manage a couple of words. I go to school and sit for about 7 hours, but I walk there and back which is 15 minutes either way. I have 4 floors in my house which I'm…
  • That could actually be part of the reason. Sometimes I get really hungry a week before my period, but I guess I'll find out next week. I normally track it, but I'm a bit iffy on last months dates. I hope that's it! Would be good to know that I might have need a little extra, but I don't want to look for excuses either.
  • CW: 61kg Height: 156cm Moderate excersise (1 hour elliptical- sweating quite a bit)
  • Hmm I do get a bit less hungry if I workout late in the day because when I'm done it's close to bedtime and all I wanna do is sleep. I didn't use the mfp calculators because they aren't right for me, way too low. I went on one online which I've used in the past. I dropped down to 44kg once (not healthy) so I've done the…
  • My maintence with the exercise I'm doing now should be around 2200 calories; I was trying to eat between 1600-1900 and I managed it for 3 days but then I ate back the deficit within 2 days. I don't think lack of fat is the problem because I always seem to eat a lot of it :/ fruit does fill me up, but it makes me so…
  • I didn't know it was common in women, thought it was just either gender. I guess I'm gonna just have to try harder then. Gonna go and buy lots of fruit tomorrow, see if I can stuff myself with that instead.
  • Wow, I knew it could fluctuate, but I didn't know it could happen so fast! I have ibs so I think that could contribute?
  • Haha, I like how you told her you would ignore it Jacqueline :P I assumed that the doctors scale was the most accurate, that's why I chose to use that number. I was clothed at both weigh ins, but the funny thing is that my clothes were heavier the first time, yet the scales were higher the second time.
  • I hadn't thought about that. I have actually been feeling a lot more energetic since eating healthier. Thank you for the support. I think I'm only stressing a bit because my family is all going on holiday for the end of March, but some weight loss will be better, even if I don't reach my target.
  • I'm in too! I'm starting at 134lbs 5ft 1
  • Same here, but I feel much more positive the second time around, now that I know that I can do it! :)
  • I wanna join! I'm 134lbs and want to be at 120lbs - it's not a full 20lbs loss but it's close :)
  • I'm 5,1 and I'm aiming for 120lbs. That's the weight I was before I started pigging out on whole cereal boxes :/ I'm 134lbs now, so that 14lbs to loose
  • I would be happy if I lost 14lbs, but 20lbs would be great!
