I actually gained 6 pounds. Water - came off by the time I left hospital

I was taking high doses of predione and was not weaned off them at the same time I went off strong pain medicine. I had all kinds of strange symptoms. Was told afterwards that I was growing through withdrawal. Hope your problem I solved.

It's possible to stretch with either surgery. Friend had the gastric bypass 8 years ago and she gained all plus more of her weight back. I have to remember that it's a tool not a cure. I'm hoping that this will make me more aware of what and how much I put in my mouth.

Part of the stomach is removed. They use to do this before the gastric for extremely overweight people and after they lost weight they performed the gastric bypass.
