I HAVE been eating nothing but sugar, fat, starch, and a little protein. It's almost certainly what's making me feel worse. Yesterday, blood tests came back that my A1C is back to pre-diabetic and my cholesterol is through the roof, even with medication. At the same time my weight is trending back down, and I definitely…

A minor complaint (comment), the size 20 jeans I just got are loose already... time to break out the belt again. But I am not consistently losing weight, I keep going up and down!

I am feeling better than I was, but still kind of tired all the time. I'm also impulse eating, and all the wrong stuff. I seem to be hungry constantly lately. I even got up in the middle of the night because I wanted candy so badly! My current theory is I'm not getting enough vitamins with all the junk and processed foods…

Username: morenin SW: 255 lb. PW: 223.4 CW: 226.3 So, I totally fell off the wagon yesterday and the day before. It was like being sick made me STARVING. Ah well, back to it.

What is your playlist? Gosh, I have a lot of different tastes. If I'm doing something vigorous (walking, lots of housework) I like Panic! at the Disco, 30 Seconds to Mars, Halestorm, The Score, Fallout Boy, Linkin Park. I also like listening to the Welcome to Night Vale podcast, as I get caught up. Spouse and I are sick…

I was better yesterday, drank lots of water, had less (though still too much) sodium. Weighed in today for fun... 221.1. Why couldn't that show up on my weigh in day! *screams into the void* I'm feeling a lot better, this week. My pulmonologist is of the opinion I need to do a better job fighting dust mites, because I am…

So, I lost weight this week, but I am SWOLLEN. All my measurements are. Except my arms got leaner and more muscular somehow. My stomach is somehow sagging more at the bottom, which looks odd as heck, and I can't figure out. I definitely ate WAY too much salt yesterday.

Hi to the new members, as well as those returning! I'm Morenin, I started last month in Mission Slimpossible. I have 3 cats and a dog, and live with my aunt, my cousin, and my spouse. When I'm not moving more I'm usually reading mysteries or fantasy, or playing all sorts of video games. My music taste is eclectic enough I…

Just popping to say two things. 1) I am feeling better and resuming walking doggy more! 2) Women's sizing is crazy. 2X means something different to different manufacturers. I just moved out of 2X (22-24 size) and into 2X (18-20 size)! *flails* I'm going to have to sort my pants carefully before I donate some...

Being too sick to eat is not how I wanted to lose weight! Down 2.5 lb. from Sunday, which is bizarre. I assume it's all water weight. I will be a little quiet today.

Welcome, @GrinningPossumLifts! @Katmary71 Not to worry, it was the middle of the day, after a vet appointment, and most people were at work or school I think! My dignity, such as it is, survived. But yes, those pants are definitely on the way out! And they're probably taking my best jeans with them. ><

Called my doctor's office for advice on the continuing side effects of the antibiotic. The nurse is of the opinion that it's causing the roadblock stuck in my head to drain out, sadly through my ears. That's probably what's making me so dizzy. 3 more days and I'm done! I am still on limited movement, but back up to walking…

Apparently it WAS the illness, not the medicine! I still feel much better, even after taking the Augmentin! I am moving around more, getting some chores done, and taking the dog on walks.

I hadn't thought about it, but yes, I probably should. I just got up and I feel fine- before the Augmentin. We'll see what happens after I take it.
-
Still feeling sick and too dizzy to move around much, so my step count will be abysmal. I think the Augmentin is making things worse. I'll weigh in tomorrow, but will likely be out of it this week.

@micaroo4 I will post a picture of my absolute favorite water bottle shortly! I so rarely get to show off my Night Vale gear. @txcritter69 Has your husband tried on masks intended for women? My husband has a small nose, and has to use a For Her nasal mask in the smallest size to get a good fit. Mask manufacturers use…

I completely feel off the wagon the last two days, due to stress. Bad eating, no water. But several stress walks with doggy! Back on the wagon.

Having a panic attack-y day and a load of bad stuff happening since last night. I emotional ate twice my calories in candy last night. Will check in once I get things under control here.

Nothing much to report, other than my knee is healing quickly! My spouse has been taking doggy on all her walks, so that's helped me rest. However, it's killed my step count! The new fabric band for my Fitbit is AMAZING and soft, and super adjustable. Not only is it leaving less of a mark, I can move it around easily…

User Name: morenin SW: 255 lb. PW: 222.2 lb CW: 224.2 lb. Two pound gain in a week, so obviously I'm not thrilled. I've been careless with my eating, lots of sugar and not much produce. I also have been consuming a LOT of sodium. Oddly, despite my weight gain, I've lost inches over everything but my boobs. Hips/lower…

Sorry for the short post, but it's been a heck of a day. I fell while walking my doggy, and while I'm okay, I am a bit banged up. I will be moving a lot less for a day or two because of a deep bruise on my knee. I might give chair yoga another shot.

I actually prefer my drinks be cold, rather than iced. I'll even drink room temperature without much fuss. I don't ask for no ice at restaurants though, because I figure I can live with it and the servers don't need that kind of nonsense! Yes, the wind chill is the real villain in winter! Today is back up to 27 F here with…

*shivers at Teresa* -6 F outta nowhere is still hard to adapt to up North *grins*. And the heat in my mom's nursing home is being "erratic", so they're having to move her floor. Layers are key I'm being reminded, even if exercising outside. I look like a mobile blanket pile walking a bundled up doggy. Coco, however, is…

It's very cold here, but spouse and I got the snow up yesterday. So it's just a matter of bundling up when going outside; I look like a bundle of cloth walking around the neighborhood. Due to her surgery, doggy can't go out on her own, she has to be on a leash so she doesn't run and jump. So I'm getting lots of mini walks…

I love Calm so much. The sheer variety of things to help my mind chill is fantastic. They even having calming music for when the day is going poorly. Tomorrow morning we brave the incoming snowstorm to return to the original vet. Doggy is recovering well, and we're sticking to what the surgeon said to the letter. Tomorrow…

Having a goal will help I bet! When I just do the vague "I will be healthier" with no actual goals, I tend to regress. I do a lot of that. I'll eat dinner because it's dinner time and made, even if I'm not actually hungry. It's hard to eat right when your brain if fighting you. *hugs* I've been using the Calm app to…

Trip to Virginia beach to get my dog surgery went well! Puppy is recovering at AMAZING speed! Oddly enough, even though I abandoned my diet for 4 days, I've lost weight. I am pausing tracking my steps for this week, because I have a welt from my Fitbit on both arms, making it unpleasant to wear. SW: 255 lb. PW: 223.8 CW:…

I do that too! I should have put everything away yesterday, but I'm delaying a bit. The lights are pretty and I feel ick. In better news, my new kitchen scale is here and working. We'll see how it goes.
