I realize this is an old string, but I was just thinking about this at the gym this morning. I started going to the gym in my building a couple weeks ago and I am the only fat person that have seen there. I was wondering what people think when they see me there. Do they roll their eyes behind my back? Do they think I’m…

It took me 15 months to lose 80 pounds, but I still have 21 pounds to go before I'm not overweight anymore.

Yeah, a scale is a really good thing to invest in. It was a real eye opener for me once I started weighing everything. Good luck!

No problem :) Yes, I eat back my exercise calories. I know others have had issues with the calorie count MFP gives them, but it's been pretty accurate for me. I hope you don't mind, I snuck a peak at your diary. I just want to make sure you're weighing your nut butters. I found that when I was measuring 1 tbsp instead of…

Thank you :) I just wanted to let the OP know since our stats are similar that I am not able to lose a pound a week eating 1800 cals a day.

In the past year or so, I have lost 70 pounds by counting calories so I know this is what works for me. If calorie restriction is scary for you, I think rileysowner's way of counting might be a great…

Go to APPS then Tickers :)

So is this why they say not to eat 3 hours before bedtime? Or is that just another dieting myth?

Hi Jessei, We have almost the same stats (except I'm a lot older than you are!). I started at 271 on Jan 1/15 and my goal is 165. I am currently at 227.6. When I started I think I was eating around 1700 - 1800 calories (I don't remember the actual number) and I am now eating around 1700 + exercise calories each day. I can…

I know two people who sell Arbonne and they both use the weight loss shakes / pills / whatever and have off and on for a couple of years. One of them runs a weight loss challenge every few months. They're both still overweight. It hasn't worked for them!
