I had gastric bypass in 2009. Best decision I have ever made for ME. Sadly, I went through a divorce and stress as a single mother..and pounds began coming back. Gastric is a TOOL. And you have to remember that, and know that it will help but it will not take out the things that helped you gain in the first place. For me?…

I am new to this site myself. Your title hit home because that is exactly how I am. The first day I logged into this site, I sat reading up on it and how to use it, some stories. Eating PIZZA!! Ugh. It's frustrating. BUT? After reading more. And following my sister, who is also on this site and knowing she can stalk me…

You can do it! I would love to be a runner, but sadly have really bad feet. I love to walk though. I just joined this site but it's very inspirational.

Best wishes! You can do it. I have been reading on it all day--that and clean eating. I bought a book on paleo also. Pinterest has some awesome recipes for it. I am thinking that is the direction I need to take with my eating

I had gastric, not the lap band. That was in 2009. I lost but after a divorce, I ate my emotions. Need to get off about 40lbs I gained. The biggest tip they pushed at my orientation was to remember that it's a tool only and whatever "issues" got the weight on, wont be gone after the surgery. lol. Boy where they right. BUT…

Thank goodness I'm not a fan of chocolate. If I want a piece. I'll borrow a square of my kiddos Hersey bar.

I have super bad feet and my uncles foot doc recommended crocs. I tried them and they feel like heaven on my very bad feet. Might be ugly but feels great on my poor feet. I wear uggs too in winter -just warm & cozy

Hi there. I am new in here but not to trying to conceive. My ex and I tried for years for a child. I was finally diagnosed w/ PCOS. Long story short, dropping 20lbs plus 1500 mg of metformin and 150 mg of Clomid did the trick. At 44 (next month) I am the mother of an awesome 7 yr old son :)
