All depends on the day but I tend to do this Breakfast: 0 Lunch: 500 or less Dinner: 500 or less Snacks: 400 to spend from 12p-10p

I agree with the above poster. Thus is a lifestyle change & if you don't want to quit having your treat long term there is no reason to stop now. Of course if you feel hungry you can always look for more low cal options. The strawberry refresher has 90 cals if I remember right! I'd offer more alternatives but they are…

More financial freedom so that we could travel more.

Is there a spot of MFP to view weekly deficit or do you just do the math?
-
Thank you everyone! I will be proud of how far I came this time and beat this score someday when I'm in better shape!! I thought I shouldn't continue but wanted to make sure I wasn't just making an excuse. I was almost half way done! Thanks again.

@ccrdragon yes it does have some! Thanks. I'll try modifying where I can.

M&ms and popcorn. I don't think I'll ever be able to have a small serving and not go over bored. I mean, maybe if I prebagged and gave the rest away

I sometimes forgo the pack of ranch they give in favor of buttermilk lite ranch to save on some calories.

I confess I keep my diary closed because I don't want to hear *kitten* from those who think only healthy foods are real foods.

Yes please!!! 22 pounds down and LOTS to go

If its in your calorie budget and you like it, why not? I love the crispy chicken bacon ranch one and had one yesterday. Just means stricter budgeting during the rest of the day. All preference.

I have been weighing some but have a question. For pre-packaged microwavable oatmeal's and things do you just waited before adding water and cooking? Obviously I would have to put a bowl on the scale and tare it and then add the oatmeal to get an accurate measurement, correct?

I always go by package and if I'm eating out I look up the nutrition information on the company's website. I have been so shocked at how off some things are.

Have a recipe? Sounds great.

A premier protein shake. Helps me keep my calories on check for the rest of the day by not loading up for breakfast!

My total goal to lose is around 150 pounds. Down 17 pounds so far since middle of April. My first short term goal is to lose 50 pounds by my boys birthdays at the end of OCT!

This happens to me after cheat days. I always laugh, like what?! I think its because big carby meals make me poop :D
-
You are so right :) We went out with extended family and I couldn't control myself is more likely the answer than me using that as an excuse. Thank you for keeping me in check. I need that!
-
Okay thanks for the help!

I have it set at 2 pounds a week. Today we had a family dinner and I went 500 over. Perhaps I could take off 50 a day for 5 days to make up for some?
-
If you eat over on your cals one day can you just create a larger deficit the next day or is this not advisable?
-
Exactly how I look at it too!!
-
Thought the same
-
@heybales That was with mfp calorie adjustment including workout & steps. I did not manually enter workout. Thanks for the tips

I was literally coming here to ask this!! I thought about chicken Alfredo from pizza hut tonight (Hubby's fav!) And have calories for it but don't know if its still likely to impeed weight loss.

Thanks everyone. My bmi is 49 right now. I just want to feel healthy again. I need to take care of the mental health portion too because depression got me here in the first place!! You guys are so motivating!

Thank you! I kind of thought this was the best way to go. Yoga is an *kitten* kicker BTW!

For those responding, do you only eat complex carbs most of the time?
