Should I be only doing cardio? I was told that the interval training would help melt fat faster and also built muscle - I do 4 sets of this workout: 3 minutes walking, 3 minutes jogging, 1 minute sprint, 1 minute jog, 1 minute sprint. Then between each set I do either 20 push ups, sit ups, squats, or jumping jacks.

I think it is perfectly fine! If you follow through with confidence, nobody will bat an eyelash. Putting your weight loss goals on hold for a weekend with your friends isnt worth it- you can still be true to your diet AND have fun with your friends. I just used my reports tool in mfp to see how much fat I was getting.. a few of you commented that may be the reason and someone else gave me an equation to figure out how much i should be having... .3 x 228 = 68.4 and I've haven't been going over 40.. i will consciously up…

I do- I am working with a weight loss doctor in my area. He has me on 15mg of Adipex. It's not a long-term drug, but something to help suppress appetite until your body learns how to eat an appropriate amount, then he weens you off. It is day 2 for me on the medicine and I feel fine. wow, these are all so inspirational! i just got back on the weight loss band wagon and have 60+ pounds to lose. I am at 228.5 right now and will need lots of support from mfp friends!
