Binge Eating Guilt-5 months with no binging, what happened this weekend!?
Hi Pals, I wanted to share a recent struggle and enormous guilt weighing on me from the weekend. I have a history of binge eating, and I recently made a lot of great changes starting in January. My binging has been under control, and I've lost 45 pounds in the last 4.5 months. I feel amazing. Well, I FELT amazing, until…

Needing a little push to get me back on track
Hi MFPals! I'm about 12 weeks into my weight loss journey, and have been slowly falling into a "slump". I feel like I have been losing focus, not logging everything I eat, guesstimating my portions, and slacking on my gym efforts. I can totally feel it and tell that I haven't been going as hard as I have been, and I am…

I'm not there yet, but I wanted to post my progress!
I started my healthy living changes January 1st of this year. I took these top pictures that night. 51 days of MFP logging and 2-3 sessions a week at the gym and this is my progress so far. Just under 30 pounds down, I have 50 more to go but I wanted to celebrate the progress that I though I would never make. I want to…

4th Weigh in, celebrating the non-scale victories
I am heading into my 4th weigh in today, and want to take a minute to celebrate the non-scale victories. I have a feeling my numbers wont be as high as my last 2 weigh ins, but i still want to reflect and reward myself for the last 2 weeks of really hard work! - my fitness has increased immensely, I was able to run 60…

Is cutting calorie intake making me grumpy?
Does anyone find themselves a little grouchier than they were pre-diet/lifestyle change? I think my body is naturally reacting, when I think about it, I was probably in-taking upwards of 3,000 calories a day. now I stay below 1,500. Is it normal to feel a little on edge while you make the adjustment?

Acknowledging Hard Work
Hello MFPals! My second weigh in is today, I am 28 days in and feeling a million times better than I did 28 days ago. I wrote a post the day of my last weigh in , and I'd like to do it again. In fear that the scale may not reflect the hard work I put in the past two weeks (because we all know how disheartening it can be…

Exercise Guilt
I am dealing with some exercise guilt, looking for some words of encouragement, advice, or support. I have been doing well with my eating staying under my 1500 calorie goal. I've lost 10 pounds in 22 days and feel happy about that. My work week in the first half of the week is extremely busy and I tend to work extended…

2 weeks of healthy changes.. what have you noticed?
I want to take a moment to celebrate the 2 short weeks that I have made healthy lifestyle changes. I think it is easy to focus on the areas we struggle with and "how much we have to go", when instead we should be celebrating the small victories and using them as momentum to get us through the next 2 weeks. The changes I've…

Realistic timeline for weight loss
I am all about taking it slow and letting my body get up to speed with my recent lifestyle changes. I am not fad dieting or doing anything extreme, just using mfp and doing interval treadmill workouts 2-3 times a week. My plan is to up the gym time as I get stronger. I'm on a 1200-1500 calorie intake when I was eating…

Goal for the Week
Good morning MFPals! I woke up feeling motivated and excited to put another healthy week under my belt. I found that setting 1 goal per week has been helpful for me to stay on track and not lose motivation. Last week, my goal was to go to the grocery store and prepare all of my meals for the coming week. It felt great to…

Looking to add encouraging, POSITIVE friends :)
Hello MFPals! I am joining mfp for the second time, and am looking for motivating and positive friends to add! I am 24, a working HR professional, have about 80 pounds to lose, and love life! I am working with a weight loss doctor in my area who I see every two weeks. Between that and MFP, I really feel that I will be…
