The biggest thing I find is I have 26 sweet teeth. So I indulge all 26 with a little bit of choc every day in my calorie allowance lol

I used to weigh daily, got obsessed, threw out my scales. Started weighing once a week on a local scale so I got consistency. That's really great to know! I have seen a significant reduction in my back pain since losing weight as carrying excess pounds really did aggravate it. My dad suffers too but he's incredibly fit and has always said exercise helps.

Thanks for that. I do kettle bells at the moment. Only using a 3kg weight which is fine but I doubt it's going to be enough with regards keeping lean mass. It's something that is worrying me as I get closer to goal. I will never be able to heavy lift as I know my limitations wouldn't stretch that far.

I've been to the doctor with regards my back. She had no issue with me doing any form of exercise. Real people who have their own issues with their backs will know how sustainable it would be for me to try. I'm not completely dense! Lol

Ok your TDEE is 2000 I take it not your BMR? You do not have a lot of weight to lose so should aim for 0.5lb a week. Input your stats into MFP and it will tell you what you should be eating. A bigger deficit will be too aggressive with you being a male. Men should consume at least 1500 calories a day or so I believe?

I've lost almost 2 stone and I still see the fat girl I was in the mirror. It's hard to get that vision out of your head but it can be done. Congrats on your loss so far!!!

Oh Mama you may have thought my opinion on American food was negative... Hell no. I came for the massive plates and greasy stuff. I scoffed massive pizzas and donuts and hot dogs and Philly cheesesteak. I'd weigh 6 million stone if I lived in America. They do "Bad" so damn gooooooood. Ha ha ha!
