If you aren't weighing your food. You cannot be sure how many calories you are actually consuming.

Cor blimey I don't even know what "Attempt" I'm on this time. But I know one thing... I'm going to make damn sure it's my last. At almost 32 I cannot keep allowing my weight to fluctuate like I have for the past 15 years. It's done me no favours and my back was a right mess, constantly in pain. Losing the weight has…

@stevencloser You Sir are witty. We like witty ;)

I used to blame my BC for my weight gain. I just ate more. Until you weigh, log and look at what you are actually eating... You can't blame BC. It is frustrating to gain weight when you feel like nothing much has changed but in reality... it does make you eat more than you realise.

I'm just here for the comedy factor. Although some people don't like to laugh! I always smile when I see your avatar @Orphia ... It's such a positive one. :)

That is exactly how I deal with my stretchmarks. They tell a story so who gives a hoot lol

I actually thought I was reading an advert at first for Mr Motivator. LOL

A stone is 14lbs. At 2lb a week loss, that is only 7 weeks. So if you look at it... It's probably going to take around 1.5 years to lose the 10stone you want to lose if you stick to the programme and do things right. Think about that 1.5 years. How much MORE weight you could put on if you don't make this change and make it…

No idea but I've been told by quite a few women (I work at a laser and cosmetic clinic) that body brushing can help to soften it down a bit. I'm quite lucky... I don't have cellulite even though I've been big. But I am covered in stretchmarks instead. Ugh.

I'm a convert to Pyrex dishes with Tupperware lids... It's the FUTURE!
-
And definitely @SergeantSausage for the lols. He always makes me laugh.

@rabbitjb is someone who I listen to. MrM I thought was a bullish ape when I first started using the forums. I soon realised he was a vast wealth of knowledge and I warmed to him and his churlish ways. He even loves Gelato. So yep he is up there with Rabbit for me.

Not enough! I bought a 1kg punnet recently. I bet most of that was the flipping box they came in. Humph
-
Can't you take baby with you and have a longer walk? :)
-
It's married to Jack Daniels in my house

I only logged 180g don't worry. I'm more miffed that I wanted my extra 20g of yummy yogurt lol
-
I tried diet pills. They made me feel like I was off my nut 3/4 of the time. Not a good feeling
-
Therein lies the question! Person B has to take Person A's word that what they are logging is right.

In moderation, soda is highly enjoyable and not really that addictive. But not everyone is great at moderation;)

It's hard trying to help someone who just sees you as nagging. For all intents and purposes he is doing the right things. It worries me how little he nets on some days too. I eat more than he does and I lose weight fine. I do wonder if he eats and drinks things that he doesn't log but he's really serious about tracking. He…

It's fine. You'll get the odd person tell you soda is the devil but hey... If you enjoy it and want to drink it then yes. Soda is fine :)

I tell you what is sneaky and evil... I used to work for McDonalds. The buns are toasted and "caramelised" to give a sweeter taste to make you want more. I used to crave burgers on my days off. It was more than a little creepy. I wouldn't say I was addicted but it definitely makes you think. Companies can be crafty

I had two small vodka's and diet cokes at the weekend. The first drinks I've had in about 5 months. Usually I don't drink at all. It is probably once or twice a year that I have a drink and even then it is literally one small glass of 5% wine or as above a small vodka lol
-
He's losing 5lb a week. So definitely not a healthy deficit. Lol
-
Sigh. And I'm out.

Err how's about you stop reading into people's comments too much? I don't eat "clean". So I'm just saying if that's what floats her boat then off she goes. Honestly I despair with this forum some days. It's not all about jumping on everyone who posts something that you want to misconstrue. I was talking to the OP. No one…
-
What???? Are you all on something today? Where did I state that everyone on here has told OP she's wrong to eat less processed food? Crikey Moses.
-
About as relevant as bacon which has taken up plenty of space. What's wrong with you today?
-
There were so many references to Twinkies and not eating clean that my head sort of exploded. To the OP... There is nothing wrong with eating less processed food if it makes you feel good inside. Each to their own. :)
-
I ate a Twinkie once. My other half told me how delicious they were. He was wrong. Oh boy was he wrong. It tasted like bath sponge with shaving foam injected into the middle of it. Shudder.
