Yeah I'm a well built 5ft2 woman I'm afraid. Never been small so I really would look awful. My sister looks amazing slim though. Funny how different we can all be

I have skimmed milk. Which is hardly any calories. So I just slurp it down like a bearded man chugging his flaggon of ale. Waste not want not!

I'm 5ft2 and it expects me to get to 110lbs. My skeleton weighs 45 stone alone  hahahahaha

It is a side effect because it increases appetite. So yep, you will eat more and put on weight. Been there, done that.

I don't know if I'm insulin resistant or not to be honest. The doctors in my area tend to like fobbing you off when you're polycystic. All I know is, if I don't watch my food intake, I pile on weight like a beast. So for me, it will be a constant battle to keep it under control. I think not being on BC has helped me…

I worked for McDonalds for 10 years. I was smaller then than I've ever been not working there lol

I have been having a bit of a wobbly week. So far I haven't given in and have stayed strong but I could quite happily go to the supermarket and buy everything. So maybe I'm hitting a similar sort of point now I'm almost at goal. Interesting to see others go through it too.

Eat less than you burn. Include your candy in your calorie allowance, simples lol
-
You should eat below your TDEE not your BMR. BMR is what your body burns just by living. There is a difference.
-
Nope. No medication or birth control. Just laser treatment for my damn hairy self. Lol my doctor has never medicated me as I'm not one for taking pills. PCOS symptoms massively alleviate when I keep my weight down so that's why I'm trying my best to get it under control.

All I can think of is Big Gay Al from South Park... I'm Sooooooooper thanks for asking!
-
I have PCOS. I weigh my foods. I've lost 32lbs since January. On 1480 calories a day.
-
The new list is great... however... that super helpful thread has been added to it and I really don't think it's a "must read"
-
You. I like you.

Dayum. I'm going to go stand in the naughty corner. Seriously OP. If she is that possessive and jealous... that might be another thing you consider getting rid of.
-
There is no magic. Eat foods you like. WEIGH THEM. Eat less than you burn and you will lose weight. It's that simple.
-
I tried that. It was ignored. Sigh.
-
I'd reply but I'm a female so ooooh don't want you to get into trouble ;)

Baby bowls full of chocolate? LOL!
-
If you aren't weighing. You cannot be sure what you are consuming. A baby bowl is NOT an accurate way to measure your food. Eat less than you burn. Weigh your foods.
-
Do you weigh and measure all foods and liquids using a food scale? That would be my first port of call. If you do not, you are likely eating much more than you realise.
-
I'd assume that the amount of fat available to burn would have something to do with it too.
-
@OdesAngel That made me laugh so hard.
-
Last night I ate my 40g of chocolate in bed. I'm a winner.
-
If you are gaining weight you are eating more than you burn. This could be due to inaccurate logging or you over estimating your calorie burns. Weigh ALL foods and measure liquids (Other than water) and only eat 50% of exercise calories back to allow for inaccuracies.

I started off at 1200 calories to lose 2lb a week. Hated feeling hungry all the time so decided my well being was more important than shifting weight at a rapid pace. I reduced my goal to 1lb a week and with an extra 280 calories a day to play with I was a much happier bunny.

The longest I've gone without a period was 4 months. That was due to my PCOS and being obese at the time. Now I don't miss any. In fact my cycle is now only 24 days which is a pain in the balls. LOL

:( It's awful when people are really positive about wanting to be donors and can't. Only 6% of the British population that CAN donate do. I have so many friends that would love to donate blood etc but can't because of illnesses etc.
