Grew my own basil. Had so much that made my own pesto with all the delicious fresh basil. Amazing. Can't wait to grow more in a month or so.

Read Eat to Live for the science behind the vegan diet. My use of almond milk, nutritional yeast and ground flax helped me meet my nutrional requirements. Use MFP to keep track of everything. Yes, calorie deficit is important but so are many of the other vegan benefits.
