Good on you, that's a fantastic milestone! How did you feel afterwards? You can get such a mental boost from exercise.

Welcome back! I too have returned after a few years away to re-educate myself on the value of healthy eating and training. I've been far too focused on my stressful job the last couple of years and gym and diet suffered a a result. I'll send you a friend request

Welcome! Well done on making a decision to take action. This app is a powerful tool to keep yourself accountable and to really show the value of smart food choices and exercise. You are not alone, everyone here is on a journey and will always support and encourage each other. Know that you absolutely can do it.

The thing is to get stronger you need to gain muscle which means you need to have a calorie surplus. If you have a calorie deficit then you will lose muscle and fat. It's why bodybuilders (not that I'm suggesting you wish to be a bodybuilder) will bulk for most of the year, eating lots and lifting heavy and then focus on…

Also like fiddicat said above, remind yourself of the hard work you did during the day and think "do i really want to sabotage those HOURS of effort and doing the right thing for a few minutes of tasty snacks?" Be accountable to yourself and don't let 'night-time self' let down your 'daytime self'

From a physical point i (mostly) make breakfast my largest energy meal for the day which sets me up for the day and then lunch and dinner can taper off. From a mental viewpoint, i have to be super strict about logging everything. If i don't want to log it, then i don't eat it. Then as soon as I'm finished dinner i click on…

I find that people at the gym aren't gonna look and stare at anybody who is there to work hard. Nobody cares if you're overweight, you're just another sweaty gym rat lifting some weights or busting out some cardio. We are all fighting our own battles. To be honest, most people at the gym have had some sort of body image…

This is my 7 month journey so far. Still have a bit further to go, but it sure is nice to feel comfortable in my own skin again!

Awesome work, you look amazing! It's great that you took charge while you were still young, rather than carrying bad habits well into adulthood. Good job!

Also, my loss to date is 12.5kg which is 27.5lbs

Man, that is a long day. You need more time for sleep! I have a very busy life too, there never seems to be enough hours in the day. I find its all about setting priorities. Some things just don't get much time allocated to them so I can do the more important things.

And tell your husband he has to help out!

If it is making you miserable and unhealthy then the best thing to do is just make the decision that you absolutely have to change. Implement some smart food choices based on the calorie count the app gives you. Don't go cutting out any particular group, you need the right balance of carbs, fats and protein. For protein…

I am getting rid of the last of my baby weight after the birth of my boy....even though my wife was the one who was pregnant! Haha being a new parent kind of messed up my training and eating regime so I've only just got back onto here 4 weeks ago and am loving this whole friends thing that I never knew about before! It's…

Hi mate, I've found that adding fellow fitness friends on here is a great way to keep motivated and accountable. I've sent you a request

Hi Greta, I'm Neil from Australia  I was in Venice in 2012 and I loved it there! I find having fitness friends on here to be a great motivator

@carliecrazycarlie563 on my Android phone you just click on their names add then click 'add friend' but I've seen people say that on iPhones you have to go to the friends tab, click on the search button and manually enter the person's username. I'll save you the effort and send you a request!

I'm from South Australia

I'm the same, just have the last little bit to drop. It's very slowly disappearing. Requires a lot more determination when you don't see significant results every week

I'm in Adelaide :)

I'm in Australia and I only recently got back into this app after having a 3 month break when my baby boy was born. Everything's a different experience now we have a baby. But I'm still doing quite well with getting to the gym. I'll send you a request

During the working week I eat the same thing for breakfast and for my 2 meal breaks at work everyday. Once you've entered all the components in once, then you can click 'save meal' and save it as whatever name you want. For instance, I have a meal called "breakfast and morning coffee" which consists of 180g muesli, 300ml…
