I never restrict food. I just taught my body to like fruits, veggies, nuts, beans, etc. Now I don't like cheese burgers or cake. Now I crave vegan found where before Ididn't, now I prefer eating greens without anything on them. My current breakfast sandwhich is whole grain bread, hummus and baby kale. Do I eat burgers,…

I'm 45 and I've lost about 45 lbs through diet changes alone with living a relatively sedentary life. I eat a diet that is plant food based and no processed foods. I eat a lot of fiber in order to feel full. The book that taught me how to eat better is called "How not to diet"

I would suggest also switching up some of the food you eat if you haven't already. I snack on raw pumpkin seeds a lot they are lower in calories than walnuts for instance. Raw is better than roasted as more calories pass through you, more fiber is better because when it hits your colon it tells your body that you're full…

15 lbs over 5 years and then 30 lbs over 1 year. Not only do you train yourself better habits but you also train yourself that eating pizza, french fries, and ice cream occasionally don't blow your weight back up. I find that I have natural portion control now and I just don't eat as much as I used too. I've retrained my…

I chose to change how I ate, I have joint issues so I don't get much excercise. By changing how I eat I've lost 45 lbs, and I took all my advice from the book How Not to Diet. I always struggled with hunger but the place that signals when to stop you from eating is in the colon and reacts strongly to fiber. So I eat a lot…

I often suggest Maitri meditation to people who are overcome with negative emotions, I have an anxiety disorder so I've had my share of mental health issues. I tell people even 5 minutes a day of telling yourself that you are awesome is a great start. People say "I'm not awesome.", but you really are awesome you just don't…

What and when you eat is what impacted my weight loss the most, I hardly excercise due to joint issues. I've lost 45 lbs just changing my diet. I choose low glycemic foods and eat mostly plant based. All I had to do was be patient. It took me a year, but I changed my eating habits and now I don't need to track calories or…

Fear, it is the basis of all negative traits. Even when people say they don't fear things, iot is a delusion they tell them selves. Let go of the fear and live a happy life! Be well!

I eat all the fruit, veggies, and raw nuts that I want. Eventually I stopped craving sweet and salty things.

While losing 45 lbs, my weight would sometimes go up or down by 5 lbs during the week merely based on water intake.

I chose a diet where I can eat without excluding things. If I want ice cream I eat ice cream, if I want pizza I have pizza, etc. But I've trained my body not to crave fatty, sugary foods, and I also don't like to overeat so I naturally stop eating when I'm full now. I prefer fruit over candy for example.

I lost 45 lbs so right now I'm enjoying the plateau. I eat a plant food based diet centered on low sugar low glycemic foods so I track about once every couple weeks but soon I'm going to amp it up again because I need to lose about 90 more.,

Forgiveness and patience only come when you love what you are doing. I love eating healthy, I love it so much. I stick with it because I love it. Do what you love.

My brain, because without it nothing else would function well. XD

I used to eat a lot too and loved to indulge in Pizza and donuts a lot. I started to meditate on love, compassion, kindness, patience, and forgiveness for myself and others. By do this everyday for three years, I've built up my mental will power. Also for me I feared hunger, then I began to wait until I got hungry to eat…

180 but I'm not dieting. I've lost about 20 lbs in three months. I've adopted a new way of eating, I don't plan on ever going back to eating unhealthfully. I don't miss it. :)

I suggest Maitri Meditation. In our society we are taught that negative emotions are what motivate us. The truth is that love motivates us. Love yourself, be patient, kind, compassionate, and patient. Frustration is the difference between expectations and reality. Over the last three months I've lost 17 lbs. I've got a…
