Here is another option. Consider yourself to have lost 4.8 pounds in 2 weeks. That is a respectable loss! I have weeks like that too. It helps me to average them with the preceding weeks. Also, I wonder if the cokes left you a little dehydrated, and you are actually better hydrated now? I'm sure someone else knows the…

Great transformations, everyone! It is surprising how much a face can change. You all look fabulous.

Congratulations!

Combining the info in your OP and the info on your profile, it looks like you've lost 21 pounds in 7 weeks! Is that right? If so, that is a lot of pounds dropped in a short amount of time. Maybe you are pushing yourself too hard, with too aggressive of a deficit. It looked liked you ate very few calories on some days.…

You look great!

Great job! Your belly is so much smaller. :D

Such great changes in only 12 weeks!

That's wonderful!

Great job!

Congratulations! I am also looking forward to breaking the 200lb barrier.
-
That is great! I can see the difference, even after only 7 weeks.

Awesome!

That is great! It is is especially neat that you and your wife are losing weight together. I'm sure that makes the changes a little easier.

My last doctor told me to eliminate caffeine and salt, and drink extra water for the week preceding TOM . I didn't consider that do-able, so I can't say if it worked.

This thread makes me feel better. I've lost 15 pounds, and nobody has commented. I can't really see a difference visually, so I guess I'm not surprised that others can't either. It is a little disappointing though.

What an amazing transformation!

That's great. I first noticed shrinking thighs when I had to put on tights for the first time since Christmas. They were actually comfortable!

Someone on these forums recently wrote that motivation doesn't matter as much as commitment and habits. That struck a chord with me. Motivation will come and go (especially true for me), but I can at least stick to my commitment, and work on healthy habits too. Good luck in your journey.

I live with some of those cookie dealers. It is tough. ;)

Mini cucumbers from Costco. They have a great crunch, and are very portable. I also like popcorn.

Exercise is a big one. I've added that in. One of the habits/skills I am learning through MFP is portion control, and being aware of how many servings I'm actually eating at a time. Also, I'm working on not eating a treat just because it is offered or because my family is eating it. I have room in my diet for treats, but I…

I find black coffee easy to drink when it is iced. I find iced americanos to be especially tasty. I usually make myself an unsweetened soy latte though, for the protein and calcium. Sometimes I sprinkle cinnamon on it. The aroma helps. Once a week or so, I add sugar; but most of the time I don't even miss it.

Very noticeable difference. Great job on the hard work!

Definitely coffee! I usually have protein powder too, since I can't seem to get enough protein without it.

I scanned fancy truffles at a local store, and "WalMart truffles" popped up. That isn't random, but did make me wonder if they were the same product, for much more money. LOL

Great job!

Ha! That's awesome.
