If it were me, the motivation would be the dress, and the money wasted if I didn't fit in it in 5 months and so had to buy a new one! Just make small changes, a little every day so it becomes habit.

I went for my run :) found breathing a bit harder and I was slower than usual but I'm glad I did it. Thanks for the push guys!

Thanks for the advice. I do aim to keep an eye on these things, and I take vitamins, but I do work with children so exposure to germs is a hazard of the job!

Enjoy, and take it slow. You can always speed up at the end if you have extra energy

going to the theatre this evening straight after work, so won't eat till afterwards. Most likely choice will be mcdonalds (only place still serving food at that time), so i've pre logged my usual order. Happily (thanks to the fact I went for a run today) it fits into my daily allowance!

I've lost just under 11 lbs (5kgs) in 3 months, so lets see if I can do the same again before Christmas :)

Because some of my favourite clothes stopped fitting and I'm too proud to buy new clothes in a bigger size

I started with this idea, and ended up putting on weight. I saw no difference in strength or body composition

I'm 5'7 and currently 150. I think around 130, I got told I was nearing at the wrong end of the bmi range by the doctor at 136, but I got complacent

Fizzy water? You can buy it flavoured so you get the bubbles and the flavour without the added sugar

I do all my workouts at home, why waste time going to the gym when you can use online videos and get it all in at home, and use travelling time as workout time? As quite a few people have said, fitnessblender is amazing, definately the best free videos out there

That's always been my motivation!

www.fitnessblender.com have workouts that they say burn 1000. they usually last about an hour and a half, although they took me a lot longer! They are pretty brutal, so if you have the time I'd recommend those

It doesn't sync no, but it does give a rough calorie count. I love them, they have such a wide range of work outs, with varying styles, lengths, muscle groups etc. I tend to get bored following programs that are repetitive, but I love being able to mix it up, and choose myself a different workout every day. definitely…

I've tried this before. Sorry to be a downer but I didn't see much of a result by day 30. Everyone's different so maybe I wasn't doing something right, but it didn't work for me
-
I tried those 30 day challenges (from the same app) and found they made no impact whatsoever, and just got boring. I wasn't overweight but was led to believe they'd tone muscles, but I saw no changes. Having said that at the time that was the only exercise I was doing, and have since realised that only doing 1 or 2…

i've been using fitnessblender for about 3 weeks, and what I love is the fact that they have videos of varying length (shortest I've seen are 5 minutes) and you can mix and match to avoid boredom. I don't often have time to do longer than 30 minutes a day either. but they sure do cram a lot into those 30 minutes...
