Holy crap people! Leave this poor woman alone! I see everyone's concerns here as far as eating disorders but GD! I have seen enough on MFP to be able to say that "yes, there are a lot of people on here to target and look for people who could even potentially be suffering from an ED just to report them and troll them down"…

I've been on that site before! Very good one.

I thought about getting ON, but comparing them side by side, the GNC Amp is exactly the same accept lower sodium and a few bucks cheaper. Less flavor options, but anything with a chocolate flavor is good for me! Haha I have yet to buy anything and have done a lot of research trying to find the highest protein content for…

[/quote] The only issue I personally had with very high protein percentage ( and mine was about 4O%) was kidney issues. I ended up with back to back stones and even lower kidney function temporarily as one blocked part of the flow. I was told by the doctors to decrease my protein level. I am much more cautious now. By the…

I have to agree with lemurcat12. I know you guys didn't mean any harm regarding "fat fills you up". I'm sure it is true for most but as for myself; protein tops anything for filling me up! I could eat a big bowl of buttered noodles (carbs and fat) and immediately be hungry 30 minutes later as opposed to about 4-6 ounces of…

Thank you all for your responses. I'll be researching each of your suggestions to see what works best for me. I really appreciate the help!

Thanks for the site! I will definitely check it out. That's why I'm here: to get a better understanding and to see what I should and shouldn't do to reach my goals. I guess I'm afraid of under doing it and I compensate by trying to over do it lol

The biggest reason is rather have a protein as opposed to something higher in fat or carbs is to keep me fuller longer. Although more protein would be more calories, I'd eat less rather than a high fat/carb food and eat less often, which I think would cut back my calories in the long run.

Thanks! I didn't think about that. With my 50/30/20 ratio it's comes to be: Protein 174g Fat 46g Carbs 70g So your definitely right on the protein being too high, but I don't wanna replace it with carbs or fat so would the extra protein do harm if I were still hungry? Also, I think if I just kept my fat and carbs in check…

Codilee87: I have the SAME problem lol Meritage4: I am breastfeeding and had the same concerns. I really wasn't trying to lose as much weight as I was at the beginning but my supply is great, my little man doesn't have gas pains or constipation anymore, and we both feel great. I'm eating plenty and drinking lots of water.…

I have the MFP app and pink pad for "feminine tracking". I keep my daily weighing on MFP to see the day to day changes and then keep my Monday and Friday weights on pink pad to see the changes through the week. I'm a little OCD about keeping track of things/charts/lists etc lol

I account for BFing. Right now I'm taking in ~1500 cal a day. My supply seems to be doing good so far. If I go over my set intake I don't fret cause I eat when I am hungry and what I eat is generally very heathy and well rounded.

Same thing happened to me but this app is helping a lot! Really watching what I eat and doing some light exercises. I'm still at the 155 mark but the past couple of days have been rough so I'm still tracking but not eating as healthy as I normally do.

Bear with me, just had a baby. 5'2" 20yo HW: 175 (after baby) 155 (pre preg) CW: 155 LW: 135 GW: 140 (my numbers seem high compared to everyone else's but I don't look close to what I weigh. Most people guess around 120-130 lbs when they look at me. Lot of muscle, boobs, and butt lol but I'm very proportionate. When I was…

My supply has been the same. I'd assume the quality is better cause I'm eating a more well rounded diet with more vitamins and nutrients. All I ate before was junk frozen crap cause it was easy to make. Baby's gas and fussiness has dropped significantly!

No exercise plan really. I went for a 10-15 min walk once a week maybe and did a few sit ups when I felt like it. Going to try to increase that to burn fat. My intake averages about 1400 calories a day (since I got MFP) I try to eat a lot of fruits and veggies. I have a hard time getting enough protein and keeping down my…
