Best Buy. They only had black. But I got the accident protection plan, where they replace it if I break it, and they said that if I need to bring it in to be fixed I can exchange it for a Plum one if they have it in stock.

YES to this! I have also lost 15 lbs since the beginning of the year, and am often annoyed that I am limiting my beverage intake to water/tea... but I don't want to waste any calories on a glass of orange juice when that could be more actual food in my belly!! I've been bringing a bottle of Kombucha to work as a little…

I asked my BF not to get me any chocolates, I'm too weak to have them around the house. Looking forward to a tough workout Saturday morning so I can relax and enjoy our dinner date!

My "weight loss journey" started when a new doctor told me I weighed in at 168. Less than a week later, I went to my normal doctor who said my weight was 163, same as it had been 6months earlier. I have a scale at home, and it differs from the doctor's scale.... and I've been doing bi-weekly weigh ins at work for a…

Yes! This is key! My nightly routine has gotten longer but its worth it to have an easier morning. Gym clothes laid out, breakfast portioned, and work clothes ready to go for after I shower.

OK I am following you all. This is making more sense. I guess what had confused me was that I had the impression that cardio would primarily burn fat and strength training would primarily build muscle, but I'm learning that there is some overlap, since I have been building muscle through my "all cardio" routine.

So if I am using dumbells (Barry's) or body weight resistance (TRX), and am able to increase the weight of those dumbells OR the number of reps... this is Strength training?

You will love it, I'm obsessed. I've been to a class every day for 2 months, whereas before you couldn't drag me to the gym (and i couldn't afford to go to studios). I've been logging everything as cardio as well, because MFP doesn't seem to change anything based on whether you log as cardio or strength, so I'll probably…

Some of these classes (specifically Barry's and TRX) so have (what I thought was) load bearing movement. For example, chest presses in TRX where your body weight is the "load" or Russian Twists (at Barry's) with a 15lb dumbell (dumbell as "load"). Hence my confusion...

I stay under 1200/cal a day, eating back some (but not all) of my exercise calories, and snacking throughout the day. I usually try to keep breakfast and lunch under 300 calories. My diary is open, add me if you want some meal planning ideas!

HA! My landlord always brings over a box of chinese bakery sweets when I pay rent, and it sits on my counter tempting me. Last night as I stared at the box trying to resist, I had the brilliant idea to just bring it to work to share with my coworkers. Maybe your coworkers are like me, just paying their temptations forward!…

My diary is open and I eat breakfast every morning before work. I don't have a lot of time so it is usually something quick (under 5 mins to make) and around or under 300 calories. Feel free to add me!

I can't say if they are good or bad, but I also am not keen on spending 1/3 of my daily allowance on a smoothie... When I get a smoothie craving, I usually go for one of these 3-ingredient smoothies. I especially like the protein ones after an intense boxing workout :) My go-to (almond milk + PB2 + 1/2 frozen banana + 2…

Better mood overall, it's gratifying to know that you've put in that time/work/extra effort. I've been feeling more positive and proactive in other areas of my life since I started working out consistently (30 days).

Back massage!! Foot rubs are great but my shoulders are always tight... What's more satisfying in a workout - sweating through your shirt or feeling it the next day?
