Me!!!! 44 years old. Been losing the same 20 lbs for years. Just yo-yo all the time. My restart is today.

Honestly, I would leave your calories where they were. You said it yourself, your body is changing. Give it time, and stay the course. I'm almost 44, and in about the same boat as you are weight wise. My calorie goal is 1400 as well, and after the first few weeks of change, where I didnt see much weight loss it slowly…

Happy Sunday, everyone. Spent the morning at the dog park, probably could've walked around more instead of just sitting there lol. Oh well. I'm feeling good for this week's weigh in. Have been honest with logging and have taken some nice walks. Guess we'll see on Tuesday!

Honestly, it just comes down to: either do it or don't. It really is just a decision to commit.

I returned my galaxy watch for just this reason. Google it, and you'll find they dont sync well.

Wow, sorry but your spouse sounds like a jerk! I, too, started in 2013. Bit of a yo-yo game, but I'm here to stay this time. 37 lbs to goal! Also, I sort of bet money against myself on Healthy Wage, so it's real this time! Will send you an invite.

@mary70 I'll send you an invite! 44 years young, about 35 lbs from goal, determined this time!

You added me Angie!

I certainly hope you are eating more than 500 calories per day!!

Oh, and I started this journey in 2013. Which is nuts, when I think about it. So many stops and starts!

Feel free to friend me! I started with about 63 to lose, now down to needing to lose about 35. And I'm definitely in my 40's!

Yes, losing the weight will help with the pain. It may not go away completely, but it WILL help. Also, maybe focus on less intense work outs for now. Simply walking, even slowly, is better than doing nothing. Good luck to you!!

I can do GREAT all day long...... then snack and ruin it in the evening. For me it's more 'evening' snacking vs late night snacking. It's as if my body wants me to stuff it full of all the food between dinner and bedtime!
