  • Yes it is possible. I have cookies almost daily along with any other things I crave and I've lost 66lbs. Still have 30 lbs left and don't plan on cutting anything out lol Portion control and exercising regularly is the key to my success! 7 months of logging 66 lbs lost and I have NOT cut one single thing out of my diet.…

  • Great work! I too am almost same as u I started at 230 and now I am 167 My goal is 125 :) Def going to add you as a friend hehe
  • I have Had that feeling for so long until just recently when my son went on a month vacation with his father and I was forced to be alone. After he came back I realized how nice it was having my own time and my own schedule. After my son came back I've found a balance between being a wife, a student, losing weight and…
  • I've lost 60 lbs In 6 months walking everyday for 2 hours or more. I love it and I'm going to keep doing it for the remainder of 45 lbs to my ultimate goal ☺️ then onto strength training and toning. Success for me personally isn't just getting to goal, it's continuing and pushing my body to the next level.
  • Wow this forum got heated quick
  • I started at 230 lbs and I'm 170 now...I wasn't necessarily 300 but I set out to lose 100 lbs and I'm 40 lbs away now so yes it can be done. Persistence and patience is key, and That's all it takes.
  • I've been up and down the scales between 130-160lbs most of my life and always wore Xsmall/medium. I only climbed up to 230lbs after giving birth to my son and after that the sizes grew to xlarge/xxlarge. I am 170 now and medium is a good fit. All my large size clothing are falling and droopy on my. They no longer fit well…
  • I had at least 3-5 cheat days last month where I ate what I wanted and still managed to lose 8 lbs that month (but also didn't gain any weight). I go 2000- 3,500 at most with my cheat days but with the amount of exercise I do during the week and my normal activity level that 3,500 doesn't do anything to me. I don't gain…
  • Loooool couldn't help laughing at the eating organ part. But this is so true tho. You will feel hungry because on a deficit your not able to stuff your face and your stomach until it hurts. You eat moderately and in the process you are getting your face and your stomach adjusted to normal sized portions. Inevitably u are…
  • I too started out with 105 lbs to lose and I have so far lost 57.3 lbs with another 48 left so don't give up. Always remember why u started!
  • I've lost 56 lbs so far and still have another 50 ish lbs to lose. I started out at 230 and my friends hadn't seen me below anything except 230 so they have always known me as the big girl. I started my journey out in secret and after I lost the first initial 20 lbs that's when they all started to notice some change in me.…
  • What do you mean default goal for net calories is over estimated by MFP? I got lost there .
  • 114 lbs for a 5'6 female is underweight...
  • I had almost always been 130-160 lbs and I was athletic. Exercise was a huge part of my life but eating right was not. I managed to keep in shape due to my exercises. After getting married, moving, family, stress, the lack of exercise and enjoying food with my husband was what got me to the 230lbs. 70 lbs gained in less…
  • I had recently gotten married and after getting married reached my all time heaviest weight at 230.3 lbs. I was embarrassed to be around my husband, friends and family and in general was embarrassed of who I had become as a person. The feeling of always walking into the room and being the biggest one was depressing…
  • I came across your fitness pal post and went to see the video on YouTube. I have very similar goals only difference is I am 5'6 and 190. I have Already lost 40 lbs and aiming to get down to 130-135 with a nice frame and as little body fat to show muscle definition exactly like this fitness models. You and I need to be…
  • I have heard this from a chemist once before this post. I take magnesium 3-4 days apart and vitamin c every day. Idk why or how, but it works great for cleaning out the colon.
  • The hormone and sodium part is so true for me. When I get my monthly cycle I climb the scale several lbs (sometimes as high as 5lbs) and once that week is over I literally drop the weight I supposedly gained, plus some more weight, as high as 3-4 lbs. And same thing I agree with the whole "weight loss isn't linear" I've…
  • I agree 100% with above poster. I eat chocolate and sweet treats everyday almost and with portion control I've still managed to drop 40 lbs in 3 months and 1 week. Super easy. I also have a "vision board" although, mine isn't at all anything like the above mentioned version. Mine is just a white board calendar...I write it…
  • So happy for you! Keep going! I also just hit 40 lbs loss in under 4 months. I can't wait for our very own success story!
  • I have lost 40lbs eating mostly fruits and veggies (carbs Are over 65% of my diet) and I have more energy when I eat this way versus any other way. Obviously I still have other foods on top of that, it's just that I prefer carbs more. I also eat in a deficit and exercise on top of that so I don't worry so much about how…
  • I added you (I started when I was 230 and now I am 195) This is something that definitely kept me motivated during this entire journey! I kept a list of all the things I wanted to do for myself once I reached certain milestones. 1) -30 (200lbs) I got the bowflex machine ✔️ 2) -50 (180lbs) I want new weights so I can start…
  • I've lost 34 lbs easy while still indulging in chocolate almost every single day. The only difference between now and before is now I eat a few pieces instead of eating an entire pack well over 1000 calories lol. I find that letting myself have a few pieces keeps me away from huge binges which I've had a tendency at doing…
  • Everyone who knew I was trying to lose weight said they noticed a difference after 20-30 lbs. I am only 1/3 of the way to my goal, I still have 60 lbs to lose. For reference Iam 5'6. I think My weight is evenly distributed although I have to say my midsection is a little bigger and more noticeable then the other areas.
  • I exercise 2 hours a day and I drink at least a gallon of water. But I've built up this habit for over several months. Yesterday I drank more then 2 gallons of water and I'm still alive. I don't think I drink enough because I'm always thirsty and I base that off two things: 1)how I feel And 2) what color my urine is If I'm…
  • Well for me i was not obese by any means when i met my husband but i was about 20 lbs overweight. After we got married, all the unhealthy eating and going out , the lack of exercise and increase in stress contributed to the additional 60 lb weight gain thereafter! He has always been really good looking and muscular and…
  • I hear ya on that! I have a terrible love affair with chocolate and coffee! Its not even a joke the amount of chocolate i use to eat just in ONE DAY! I am craving less chocolate now since i have replaced most of those cravings with healthier options. I use to eat at least one whole chocolate bar while sipping on coffee in…
  • I am in the same boat with you hun! I have a son and hes so energetic i can barely keep up! I really want to be active so i can do things with him and go places without feeling like my weight is holding me back!
