I've done a similar chart. Also, a graph hanging above my scale so I can chart weekly. It really helps when you have written and visible short term and long term goals. In the past, I've just kept my goals in my head and I wasn't nearly as successful as I am now. I've lost 50 so far with 38 more to reach onderland!

Just had my semi-annual diabetes checkup. Doc dropped one of my three medications and cut another one in half!

Just 3 months ago, I was wearing a 38 waist. And a rather snug 38 waist. Today I put on a pair of 34 waist jeans and have plenty of room. They also fit properly over my waist, not tucked under my belly like they used to!!

Great job, Dave! I just got my blood work back. A1C is 5.4! Also, all cholesterol numbers are great for the first time in years. My appointment is in a week. I hope the dr takes away some medications. I have lost 45 lbs in about 8 months. Just portion control with yoga and running. MFP helped me to be more conscious about…
