  • I only ever go there for ice cream, and I don't even remember when I last had a meal there. I used to visit Hesburger (similar to McDonalds) quite often, that was until I found out that the meal I used to have (chicken burger) was over 1000 calories!! I was quite shocked to say the least. I used to have the meal once or…
  • I struggle on weekends as well. Not with logging per se, it's just that usually I either go out or visit family or friends and so accurate logging becomes a problem. But I guess if I try to maintain a reasonable deficit during the week, and don't go crazy with eating on weekends, it won't matter that much in the long run.
  • Quinoa with tuna, avocado, garlic and chia seeds. Oh, and some cottage cheese as well.
  • I hardly ever drink coffee. For some reason, as weird as it sounds, it has always made me incredibly sleepy. So now I only have it if I really-really miss the taste and don't have anything important planned. Otherwise it's (green) tea all the way. But I've never had a habit of eating something with my beverage (unless I'm…
  • You could make your own dip sauce with sour-cream or unflavoured yoghurt and simply add seasonings to your taste.
  • Our date is in June and we haven't even started planning it properly. I am dreading the whole thing to be honest - I would love to have a nice, relaxed and fun celebration, but the whole planning process is just so overwhelming, I'm getting stressed just thinking about it. If I could lose some weight by then, that would be…
  • There's absolutely nothing wrong with drinking infused water and it's certainly healthier than soda or juices. I can't say whether the detox claims are true or not, but I love drinking lemon water (water with lemon slices, or lime or peppermint or cucumber or all of it!). And drinking enough water is said to be very…
  • I also just completed day two. Wow, it truly is insane! But I love how enthusiastic the trainer is and how stretches are also incorporated in the workout. I finished the routine ca 20 minutes ago, showered and I swear, I can still feel my body burning  If anyone stumbles upon this thread with the same doubts I…
  • I just finished the fit test. The results were pretty pathetic but at least I had fun  Can't wait for tomorrow!
  • Hey, thank you to you all for the kind words! I am feeling much better today, no idea what was going on yesterday, but hopefully I won't be having too many of such "blips". Your words were very comforting, thank you!
  • Oh wow, you look spectacular! What an amazing transformation, you should be very proud!! An inspiration to us all!
  • I have to admit, at first I greatly struggled with the idea of having to log EVERYTHING - it just seemed tedious and annoying to me. And then I went out and brought a kitchen scale. The thought of having to measure and log every single thing for the rest of my life is a bit scary, but I try to console myself with the fact…
  • I drink just the tea - teabag or loose leaves with water. No milk, sugar or anything. The flavoured ones are either Lipton Indonesian Sencha, Gurmans' Green Tea with Guarana or some Teekanne teas. They should be rather natural, not with artificial ingredients, so hopefully not too much junk (or calories) in them.
  • Thanks so much for the ideas! I'm going to put together a list and go check out what we have in our stores
  • 155 lbs was the breaking point for me. I was probably even heavier as a teen but I didn't weigh myself back then. But having been at around 125 lbs for years and then suddenly seeing 154 was a bit of a shock. I knew I had been gaining, the clothes were getting tighter and I was feeling increasingly uncomfortable, but as I…
