I walk and run on the outsides of my foot so I think I'm a supinator and I've only been buying neutral shoes. I'm currently running in Mizunos (have had several different models), because they are the only shoes I've ever had where my foot doesn't "eat away" the inside lining of the heel.

Thank's for the advice. I have been trying to pay attention to my form, but it's quite difficult to do on your own  But you might have a point about taking the same length strides, only slower. I will try to watch out of that the next time I go for a run. Thanks!

A fitness tracker as soon as I reach my first GW. I have also decided I will reward myself with new running shoes when I complete my C25K challenge.

The price tag. Eating well is super expensive. I know there are probably ways how to save a few euros here and there, but unfortunately I'm not that well organised.
-
I only like it when it's mixed with rum.

I went through pretty much the same and gained about 4 pounds, which has come of shockingly fast after resuming normal eating and drinking patterns. The only motivation that truly helps is the one you have inside yourself. Just get back to logging and exercising and all will be well soon enough.

That's the good thing about being an A-cup - you are used to not having boobs. I have serious envy for my best friend though, who is super tiny (even after childbirth) and yet has an amazing rack. Genetics can be evil sometimes.

I was on Wellbutrin for a while and actually lost some weight, unfortunately it did nothing for me as an anti depressant. Been taking Cymbalta now and haven't noticed any issues with losing weight - if I eat normally and exercise, the scale will show a lower number, if I binge and lay on the couch all day, I gain. If…

There are numerous reasons - firstly, I want to be fit again, I hate not having the energy to run up a flight of stairs. Secondly, I don't like buying new clothes and so I must do something to fit back into the ones I already have. And I also want to lose the weight because I am a bit embarrassed I gained it in the first…

I've tried cauliflower pizza and I thought it was delicious (even my BF liked it). I don't remember which recipe I used, might have been this one: http://www.theluckypennyblog.com/2013/02/the-best-cauliflower-crust-pizza.html

Well, maybe you (and other educated people) should sometimes speak up, even if it seems fruitless at the time. Because I, for example, was once one of those people who thought "cleanses" were beneficial, because I had read it somewhere (I never tried one though). I know better by now of course, but there are many (too…

I think that for the "average Joe/Joanne", this is a great article because it highlights the effort needed to get the results you see on magazine covers. I can also see why lean people might get a little bit huffy reading the points that seem to say that in order to be fit, fitness is all your life will revolve around. But…

That is very impressive! I almost got through the first 30 days but failed the overall challenge. Seeing your pictures truly makes me want to start from day 1 again and this time do it properly! Well done!

Try kiwi fruits.

I found this recipe a while ago. Haven't tried it yet, but it looks easy enough: http://darebee.com/recipes/homemade-no-bake-protein-bars.html

I usually just eat cottage cheese with tuna and some veggies. Quick, simple and filling.

The simple answer is eating too much and exercising too little. Plus drinking, a lot. But what made me eat too much and exercise too little was firstly, meeting my boyfriend, and secondly, my dog dying. I no longer had to go out for a walk, I could just settle down on the couch with a beer or two and a bag of chips and…

Who says she has to eat the same amounts? You can go out and eat what you like, not what everyone else is having. My bf is 6 ft 7, naturally skinny, I'm 5 ft 7. Of course we can't eat the same all the time, that doesn't mean we can't go out together.

I don't really care for the rest of them but Candice Swanepoel is a goddess.

I quit alcohol for a month in January and obviously when a woman is suddenly not drinking, she must be pregnant. Especially when she has a tummy like I do. So I would get a lot of questioning looks but I always averted the awful question by just saying "nope, not pregnant, just fat". That shut them up real good.

JaneiR36, it seems to me you are under the impression that every single person out there has issues with their weight and thus should keep an eye on what they're eating. Hence your comments about eating out a lot and multiple slices of pizza (who has only a few slices, I eat the whole damn thing!) being bad. Of course, I…

Sometimes, when an issue has been ongoing for a while, frustrations boil over and people react more harshly than they had intended. Especially if the person in question is a loved one who is behaving in a worrying manner (in the other person's opinion).

Try this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-2nTyxdKA4 It really helped me when I was just starting out with Pilates and couldn't for the life of me figure out what all the Pilates videos were saying about engaging your core. She has another great video (for postnatal mums or something like that) which I enjoyed a lot…

I don't see any reason why a fit, healthy adult shouldn't eat out all the time if they can afford it. I would do it too, I hate cooking, but because I have a weight problem I have had to make adjustments. A few years ago I too ate my main meal at a restaurant every day and only had simple snacks at home. But I was much…

When I still had my dog (a Labrador) we used to walk at least 5-6 km's every day, often more. Plus in the summer when the weather was nice we would go for long swims in the lake (I used to have a tennis ball with me that I would throw so that she would get more exercise - I got quite good at throwing a ball whilst trying…

Ooh, and don't forget him SCREAMING at her that she should be normal for a change. Deffo his fault.

Aerobics in the dark - sounds like a recipe for disaster considering my balance  But I looked at some videos and it does seem like a lot of fun.

Very well said!

If it's affecting your relationship with your boyfriend, then I'd say it's interfering with your life. And you found it bothersome enough to post a topic here. You might not like the answers or the advice but there really isn't much people on here can do for you. The sensible thing to do would be to talk to a professional.…

I would just eat them, they are delicious  Or you could mix them with some oatmeal.
